interesting all seems bit weird, that was definitely the reason given by the club regarding the shorts\ socks , as why would you launch a kit play once and then go back back to a different shorts\ combo for the rest of the season

There are so many permutations people like for the strip, we cried out for the black shorts\ socks combo this season and wore it once against qos, I believe one of the reasons is the referee s kit cannot clash, at our level they are either all black or yellow green shirt with black shorts \ socks, therefore we clash most of the time with our official registered kit.... So we play with red shorts\ socks instead..... Another ruleis you cannot have an identical design for a change kit albeit in a different colour, which rules out the traditional in some eyes of the black top\ red diamond.... And also any idea of black shorts\ red socks can get in the sea, we are not Clyde ffs.... And I only remember us playing in that combination 4 times in the past 40 years, away to Cowdenbeath in 2012, the new year rangers game (whatever year rangers won our league)_ and the Stuart Millar special worn twice when launched in season 21\22....

The club IMO have had a very poor 3 weeks since the playoff victory, all fans regular or otherwise were buzzing, the flames needed to be fuelled to keep the fanbase buoyant, announce strips, season tickets, resignings etc , really nothing, now the old haunts are coming back, rumours of best players leaving (unsubstantiated), unable to attract new talent due to wages,etc, The club promised us an exciting summer, we need some positive news to pour paraffin on the dying embers of euphoria following our play off win... look at Falkirk for example, they got rode like a seaside donkey from ourselves, you would nevervknow, due to them announcing positivity to feed the gullible fanbase..

Standard ok for Airdrie, never a regular starter although you can tell he is well coached, his main problems seems to be finding his best position, not to sure what it is and probably more importantly is very one paced lacks a good yard as they say.... I would doubt he would be a starter for thisle, maybe another loan spell would do him good..

We 'll we wanted some news aftershave got it, probably the best kep t secret in lower league football, Callum Smith signing for Raith, a player who we will miss, scores goals, works hard, team player and technically very good, of course we will miss him, think Rhys knew he was gone and signed O Connor who looks similar in style.... Maybe against opinion on here, it is not up to Airdrie To mention anything, he is a free agent with no further affiliation to the club....I Plenty questions still to be answered of the unsigned but been offered list, can ATS go round again, Telfer can he win over the boo boys, McGill the housewives favourite can he step up, will his lack of Technical abi!it y find him out, can Frizzell do it a league up??? We will never know quite rightly what players earn but for gossips,sake, Rico declared during his trial he was on 375 per week plus app money, would imagine that would be at the lower end of our scale, We took over the terms of sal s 2 year full-time contract when they were Premier League a nd also don't forget we took over The remainder of Callum Smith 3 year Premier league contract also(2 years left when he signed) plucking figures out the air I would think both players would be in excess of 500 - 600 a week, let's not forget McCabe and Frizzell allegedly were in signing talks at the start of the season with Falkirk who pay substantially more than us I would think.... Throw in Telfers contract he wanted 800 a week allegedly in preseason, he never signed on for that amount in September, we always think of ourselves as the pa upers paying poor wages etc, if we were paying certain players championship wages to get promoted, we achieved that aim, what next for these players.. (For the record I am not I T k and figures quoted have no substance expect from rumour apart from Rico's which was declared in c ourt)

interesting that the 2 experienced championship or higher players !in our squad you would like to see move on, ATS arguably turned our and Fordyces season around when he came into the team, Telfer showed he also has qualities that we will need in a higher league, any reasons why you would move them on.

Apart from a spell round about October when Frizz and Gabby got injured, we were very lucky with injuries and suspensions although Ballantyne tried his best to buck that trend, other teams were decimated at times... We need a,stronger squad quality and number wise to try and competed in a much more physical league.... Also surely guys like Riley, Byrd, Dixon etc won't be kept on, contracts are up, let us know, unless of course they are on hold out....

Good to see you guys in a better place on the park, the end of season 21\22 things looked bleak, do you think relegation has actually galvanised the club, and in a better place than if you actually stayed up hat season... I think the club have been very respectful to all players that gave that that famous night in Hamilton, they are all winners in my view, and they should enjoy that fact.... Footballers know though when the wages stop and thats tomorrow, so expect business head on from club and player with no doubt some info being released in snippets via player or club...

I will go out on a limb and say all of the above players will resign, weirdly he one player I think could struggle in the championship is Frizzell.. Smith linked with Raith and Dundee, Raith have signed Mullin from Livi who is similar in sytyle to Smith, Frizzell to Morton , local Greenock boy they 2 look well stocked in his position.. McGIll who knows rumoured down south, Devenney lovely player who runs out of gas after 70 minutes, could get picked up by a Premier B team, why though would he want that.... I would be offering all players 2 year deals, so that if this season goes 'pete don't we have a back stop of a core of players who are proven high end league 1 players....
