  1. We are and have been good to watch all season, maybe lack a bit of ruthlessness up front, but to be honest we are ticking away nicely.....I thought Frizzell was outstanding today again, he is revelling in Easton getting man marked and exploiting the space that creates very well.. Plenty if not most players in that team I would want to keep for next season whatever league that may be...
  2. If it's any consolation, I have seen a lot worse teams than East Fife. This season, I rate Crawford highly as a manager and he is a lot better than League 2, keep a hold of him, with his contacts and you will have a great chance to step back up....
  3. I think we should leave this to the Tribunal which will probably be during the close season. Unless of course it is a good old fashioned kangaroo court.... Both sides if they want can claim or counter claim in social Media all they like, irrelevant at this time....
  4. Agree with you entirely, it's all part of the game, w in or lose, has Easton got any previous with yourselves, he has scored a good few this season and never reacted like that.... Interested to see how QP will do in the next few years, is championship the target or higher, you seem pretty committed to the youth setup, most clubs struggle financially after a season or two, hopefully QP can buck the trend...
  5. Just to clarify the" racism by a group of clowns" comment, Lets look at the facts. This was only unearthed by a Airdrie fan, we all know who he is, who was trolling Shay Logan late on Sat night and came across a conversation and a single silly emoji, and then decided to post all over facebook, just to be clear no forms of discrimination or racism was reported as far as I know at the stafium... "Storm chasing" this has caused the usual discussions on facebook, with certain individuals coming back to the group, quoting all sorts of legal advice, The club support seems as divided as ever and there have been more posts removed in the last 2 days since the return of the shit stirrers.... I think it is important to report the truth, please feel free to correct any of my points... The club have released a statement regarding the unfortunate Rico situation, anything happened at the weekend has nothing to do with that situaion, Lets leave it to the club to defend the name of he club we are all supposed o love...
  6. That's more like it, well done to the club for attracting fans of both clubs to the game and a special thanks to the debutant, the big orange thing in the sky, Summer fitb a debate surely....
  7. Would you be willing to give him 4 years to slowly build his own team to be a realistic contender, I would think there would be a bigger threat of Murray going to Raith if we don't go up this year..
  8. Football can be a cruel game , did we deserve to lose like that, sorry draw like that it certainly feels like a defeat..... We started well scored early, could and probably should have been a couple up, Cove played with an extra midfielder and really controlled that area for the 90 plus minutes..... An area which is our strength Frizz and Dylan competed well though, Cove are a very good side and deserved champions if they can get over the line.... They do not need help from officials how did Reynolds not get a 2nd yellow card, 5 blatant fouls including 2 body checks, No card, maybe that is an area we can improve on moving forward. ' the dark arts' Airdrie have came on leaps and bounds this season, have a playoff secured albeit likely to be another nerve shredder against Montrose..I Cove have another 2 tricky away games coming up, we are not out of it quiet yet, can we win out though....
  9. Absolutely who can ever forget 'Rolexgate' ironically that was against Cove when they were Highland League.... Onto the game in which we will be underdogs, up against a side who are worthy league leaders, 5 clear, won most games, scored most goals, got 2 most prolific strikers in the league, a side oozing experience and they use it well, and on a 20 game unbeaten run, Lets not forget these stats.... We have a habit of overhyping our sides, this is the best and most talented since Jimmy Bones charges, hopefully a decent crowd turn up and get behind the side and back the side for the 90 minutes..... My prediction. 3 - 1. For who though...
  10. Will we break the 1k attendance for this game, can we muster around 850 home fans , with the reduced prices, Cove I would think would bring 150ish, which would be a decent following. It is what it is,times have changed...... all that matters is what happens on the pitch and the boys have all done us proud this season, whatever happens in the next few weeks..
  11. After watching the game yesterday and the rest of the half dozen or so meetings this season..... Were QP not about six points clear at the top in October and looked the team to beat, has the change of philosophy under Beuke been the problem, did you need to try and reinvent the wheel, many have tried( Wolecki Black) many have failed (Wolecki Black), Scottish Football hasn't changed effort, commitment and using the skills you have to maximum effect is the blueprint..... As a complete outsider you guys look totally over coached...... What's the hold up with Owen Coyle, surely now is the time for change. (Looking for a performance and victory against Cove in 3 weeks, )
  12. Has anything been confirmed about Owen Coyle taking over, Queens IMO have a couple of class players, Brown and Connell, the rest look like a bunch of FAlkirk rejects... Airdrie well worth there win, typical performance, confidence flowing through the whole side, The system Murray plays suits the players and they have bought into it..... That's us officially in the Play offs, Preseason minimum requirements met......
  13. How is Daniel Scally getting on at forthbank, a player we were close to signing at start of season.
  14. Apologies for my earlier post, just viewed said article, don't really no why it was blocked, although there does seem to be some previous between PH and the Trust which is now Diamonds in the Community.... I will throw a quick discussion in now, do you think if the club was fan owned (Stirling Albion model). As was the initial plan until the consortium realised the puppy wasn't just for xmas.... If the club was fan owned. 1.. Would crowds be up( if indeed PH is the problem). 2.... Would the team be where we are now, best football in at least 30 years IMO, Bones side were great to watch also.... 3. Or would we be just happy to have a club, languishing in League 2_circling the drain, constantly reminiscing about old broomie.. In my humble opinion, I do not see much wrong, in all honesty this is as good as it might get, enjoy it ffs... Every part of the club seems to be clicking, Good club shop, A busy and successful stadium with multiple teams using the facility, us, Celtic B, Celtic Ladies, Univ of Glasgow and now been given the spfl trust final in April, As previously stated the most talented Airdrie side in years, March day sponsorship and Hospitality doing well in these uncertain financial timed.... Am I a happy clapper.....
  15. I am the same not aware of anything like this on the supporters group, only post or topic that was blocked was a heated argument about Goodwillie with an 80s backup goalie having a "discussion" with a few on there.
  16. And 7th against Falkirk which was a shocking decision, thougt it was a ban after 6 bookings also.... Great news as Dylan was back to his best on Saturday was outstanding second half...
  17. Stevie Crawford is a decent appointment for this level, look at the Muppets Falkirk keep appointing... keep plugging away, Dumbarton look in deep trouble now
  18. We're the 2 sending of fs, double yellows is that an automatic one game ban or more, How many yellow cards do need for a ban these days, any ideas find the whole disciplinary process confusing....
  19. Time for Duffyball, Big Jim is your only hope
  20. I thought Airdrie dominated in every aspect of the game, 4 -1 maybe flatters Falkirk, Easton and Frizzell ran through the midfield second half at will and always had options, Falkirks defence and keeper are hopeless when under pressure, No leaders at all..... Time sort yourselves out Falkirk you have Cove at home in a few weeks, surely you ha 've enough pride to get a result against that lot....
  21. Would Falkirk and indeed their fans give Murray the time would you accept another 3 years in this league, wouldn't think so. Murray is an old fashioned rebuild manager, he has done well for ourselves, if we manage to get promoted, I expect him to stay, if not we could find Falkirk, Raith and even Dunfermline come calling....
  22. Massive 3 pints against a Alloa side who should offer much more than they do.. The midfield was functioning better this week Dylann and Frizz playing closer together, biggest issue was up front Gal and Gabby were miles off it all game, Gall has really played that way most of the season and Gabby who is a good impact player off the bench, struggled with the basics, all day as that was up against a painfully slow centre back pairing in Graham and Durnan, Afolabi and S McGill were an instant upgrade, if we have any designs on promotion Murray needs to trust his signings, we did not look like a potential league wining side on that performance, this might be harsh big games coming up and big performances required also.....a good 3 points though.
  23. Absolutely, last week was typical Gal, missing 2_big chances second half, that's why we were crying out for a new striker, Afolabi was signed and done well enough, him and Smith are hopefully given a chance up top, McGill IMOis a good impact player second half..... I expect another tight game at Alloa, 27 points to play for , plenty points will be dropped by all teams, we need to be turning draws into wins. Teams are playing differently against us now, Easton being man marked every game, and a high press, that's probably one of the reasons for the draws,
  24. Just noticed the upcoming SPFL Trust Trophy final between Raith and QOS is being held at the Excelsior Stadium, hopefully the club can make some money from hospitality etc.... a nice wee reward to the stadium company for all there endeavours
