Last time I watched Hickey live he pinged one in the onion bag from 25 yards……just saying….

The wedge one the 13th was brilliant.

This has been a brilliant major imo. Between the course and the weather it’s been so unpredictable.

A rare bit of good news. A definite upgrade on Macey.

The past few Friday nights I’ve got into a routine of playing 9 holes at the same time. Another group have the same routine but the tee time before us. Tonight I had an easy approach shot from centre of the fairway from around 140 yards. I picked the wrong club, overhit it, hooked it and nearly hit the group in front on the next tee. Problem is, I made the same mistake, on the same hole, nearly hitting the same group at the same time last week. Absolute Beamer.

The recruitment since the summer has been abysmal. Ben Kensell said in an article a few months ago that transfers were a committee decision; both Gordon’s, Maloney and himself had an input. The final say came down to himself or Ron. Hardly surprising the recruitment is a shambles when 3 people with no experience of coaching, scouting or even Scottish football are making transfer decision. Ian Gordon just sounds like an extension of Ron, a yes man there to do the admin work. Ill be massively concerned if the next manager is another young inexperienced coach brought in to work within the same system that’s in place now.

Heart of Midlothian v Hibernian - Scottish Cup SF
St. Jude replied to Lyle Lanley's topic in Domestic Cup Football
Hibs had more of the ball but ultimately Gordon had very little to do. One cracking save from the Porteous header and the goal. Any other saves were relatively routine. Felt like Hibs could have played on for another week and not got a second goal. The team are really unbalanced, no runners getting beyond Scott and a lack of runners from midfield getting into the box for crosses. Cadden and Clarke were our best attacking outlets but as they’re playing as wingbacks it means they couldn’t push far enough forward. Maloney subbing off Stevenson for Campbell was madness. Bringing on 2 creative players on 90 minutes whilst a goal down was also another strange decision, far too late. Melkerson was on too late as well. Would happily see Newell get binned for that sending off. Unforgivable. -
I quite fancy Johnson and Hovland as E/w bets. Got a stoater of a Saturday lined up, playing a lunchtime fourball at the Kings Course for the first time. Afterwards, the stars have aligned somehow as Mrs Jude is away out and the wee one is away to his Grans for the night, so the 4 of us are back to mine with a carryout to watch the Masters. Between work and family life I’ve not played anywhere near as much as I would’ve liked to over the winter so it might be a bit of a tough round but looking forward to it.

I had a similar issue this morning mate. Was playing myself and picked an early tee time with space in front but still got held up on the 2nd by a threeball. Instead of letting me through one of them told me to play with 2 balls . After that I walked off on the 9th, I find that Sundays are generally an absolute bawache to play on your own.

Remember this completely factual article from the Daily Ranger? https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/every-rangers-player-pitch-attacked-8028393 In the coming days the Record will tell us that a brand new source has come forward with intelligence that 16 year old Ryan Porteous was actually the ringleader of the battle of Hampden park. Porteous led the Hibernian army across Hampden Park and physically assaulted every Rangers player and staff member whilst armed with an arsenal of toughened plastic containers. What a fucking rag.
