  1. I guess not mate. If we'd humped the same team three times, I'd probably think they were shite so I do see your point. Seems Any team can beat any other team in this league, and usually one has a bogey team. You are ours certainly.
  2. Aye mate. I'm relieved we won at Kelty, Alloa, Airdrie(6-0) and Montrose with such a weak team right enough! Fortunately for you's we've had our three worst performances of the season all against QOS! so think your selves lucky! I thought it was a poor game today, but Queens "wanted it" more, and worked a lot harder than us! Poor day at the office for Edinburgh City, but we'll be back again. Good luck to you's though, you're clearly a better team than your league position.
  3. Does anyone know how long we have the 3 boys on loan from Hibs? Is it until January or for the full season?
  4. I'm interested in the Mo vs Peterheid Broomie! How was your match?
  5. Clyde 0-2 Airdrie Edinburgh 2-1 Queen of the South Falkirk FC 2-1 Dunfermline Kelty Hearts 1-1 Alloa Montrose 4-0 Peterhead
  6. You seem a bit down Mr Bluetoon! I remember you beat Kelty and drew at Dunfermline so you never know!
  7. RB Edinburgh? Is that Red Bull or something? Anyway, Real, Bayern, "Edinburgh" City should be reasonably confident of winning another three points here, but you never know which Edinburgh team will turn up! I'm still very disappointed at our tactics in our last away game at Dunfermline! Hopeful for a 2-1 away win for us.
  8. Airdrie 1-2 Montrose Alloa 2-0 Clyde Dunfermline 1-2 Kelty Peterhead 1-3 Edinburgh City QoS 3-2 Falkirk
  9. Clyde 0-1 Queen of the South FC Edinburgh 1-0 Airdrie Falkirk 3-0 Kelty Hearts Montrose 0-0 Dunfermline Peterhead 1-1 Alloa Athletic
  10. I think, Dunfermline being a big name in this league, you've already won some games before they even start! Speaking as an Edinburgh City fan I'll say we've shat the bed both times we've played you and gave you's far too much respect! We're genuinely a good team but never shown it, and looks to me we've accepted the two defeats before the games have even started! When Dunfermline and Falkirk both go up it'll be a more even league one next season.
  11. I know there was the name change shambles, which I don't agree with either! However, I don't see that as a big deal so still go most weeks to support the players. Everyone is free to make their own decisions, but aren't the "Supporters club" lol boys just cutting off their noses to spite their faces, so to speak? I wouldn't be denying myself all these great days out, just to feel like I made some pointless point. Good luck to the players today! I feel if they play well we can get a result here.
  12. Alloa Athletic 1-1 Airdrie Dunfermline 1-2 Edinburgh City Kelty Hearts 2-0 Clyde Montrose FC 1-2 Falkirk Queen the south 3-0 Peterhead
  13. That's absolutely ridiculous! You've got Kelty scoring two goals there!
  14. Routine win for Edinburgh City. Kelty look poor, well at least a shadow of the team of last season. Big game for us next week
  15. Airdrie 1 Queen of the South 1 Alloa Ath 1 Dunfermline 1 Clyde 1 Montrose 2 FC Edinburgh City 1 Kelty Hearts 0 Peterhead 1 Falkirk 3.
  16. As you say mate, Kelty much improved recently, beating Falkirk and last week Airdrie. Obviously Higginbotham returning from injury is going to boost any team, also Austin back up top. However, We're doing very well also and I'm hopeful we can grind oot another win here. No predicion as it will be a tight game, but hopefully Edinburgh City score one more than Kelty, that'll do!
  17. That's a great idea! Might be good if we could do that as well, seeing as we only take anywhere between 4 to 14 fans to away games, their might be space to fill the bus. Some tricky places to get to on the train, in this league Peterhead, Dumfries and Montrose all recently so a bus would be a big help.
  18. Why would that be such a bad thing to have a guy with a bit of cash in charge of your club? (Better than being skint really) First of all there's NO comparison between that Livingston move and what we have now!..... None. Blobby shut down Meadowbank Thistle and moved away and started a new club in Livi. Here, we have the exactly the same club, and who in fact, have returned "home", or at least where "home" used to be, which is what all the supporters club WANTED to happen! OK slight name change which is poor, but it's still the same players that got us promoted and now back "home" as well. Mostly all good, or intentions were good, and a team moving in the right direction.
  19. Not much to say about that game. Just a case of waiting on the first goal coming (which you always felt it would) and closing out the win for another three points. Should be a much tougher test on Saturday against Kelty, but for the moment we'll just enjoy being on top!
  20. Apparently Edinburgh City can go top of the League one table IF, we win this game! Who'd have thought that before the season started? Anyway, I'm a wee bit worried about Peterheed's great comeback at the end there getting a point a Dunfermline. I hope they don't take confidence from that! Should be a big crowd in for this thriller, so lucky I've already got my tickets.
  21. Dunfermline 2 - 1 Peterhead Falkirk 2 - 0 Clyde Kelty Hearts 1 - 1 Airdrie Montrose 3 - 1 Edinburgh City Queen of the South 3 - 0 Alloa Athletic
  22. I'm no sure which Edinburgh City team will turn up! We had brilliant away wins at Kelty, Alloa and Airdrie and I'd have been confident here.....IF we hadn't just been battered twice at Queen of the South! So I'll predict a 4-0 win either way. Hopefully for Edinburgh but quite possibly for the Mo!
  23. 4-0 again tonight. gutted to be out the Trust Trophy.....Not! Well done. See you's in November for some fireworks.
  24. Well done on dishing oot another 4 goals beating. I don't know why you've had a poor start, but It was obvious Queens are a better team than you shown so far this season. I'd expect you's to move up the table pretty quickly now!
  25. I'm giving you a greenie for using ambivalent. Pretty much sums our support this season. Anyway, I watched the highlights of the League game on saturday. I'll offer you lackadaisical. Seemed the case for a few of the players, particulary Danny Handling, and of course Jack Brydon for the first and third goals. I don't know what's happened recently, but after winning 6-0 at Airdrie to now losing 4 goals twice to Queens is quite a turnaround. Hopefully, the boys will get it sorted out over the next week before the Montrose game.
