  1. I'm really sorry to hear that mate. Football is more than game for so many of us, especially when it stems from those important relationships and memories. I'm glad the team won in the manner they did for you today, they did your granda proud. Sorry for your loss.
  2. Would have much preferred QP and ICT to draw to increase our gap over both. A good win today, much needed. Arbroath were absolutely dismal.
  3. Hopefully Arbroath can stabilise and return to the 2nd tier in the near future. That was completely night and day from the type of performance I've come to expect from Arbroath sides in the last few years in the championship. I will certainly miss the trips to Gayfield. Good luck next season.
  4. As comfortable a home victory as I can remember for a long long time. Arbroath looked totally dejected.
  5. Really not a fan of the arguing over who's taking penalties. Got away with it because we've scored them both but that should be decided before a ball is kicked.
  6. Chalmers was pretty non-existent on Tuesday. He was pressed very hard in the opening 10/15 minutes and after that he didn't really show anything - even later on as things opened up a little. I can understand taking him out for Murphy. He should be a good option today to bring off the bench to try and stretch Arbroath if the game is getting on and we need a goal.
  7. Happy enough with the line up. We should have more than enough here. Get it done ayr.
  8. I'm pretty happy with that lineup. Surprised to see McGinty dropped however.
  9. Luckily not playing at home for three weeks after today so shouldn't matter too much if the pitch is in a state after the game today.
  10. Looks like there was a great crowd in and overall a cracking cup tie. Talbot highlights pretty good as usual.
  11. A calm, relaxed, nothing to be panicking about end to the season? What is this madness.
  12. Yeah McHugh and Murphy in for me too. Just win Ayr, just win. A big step towards just getting this season by. QP play ICT so a chance to increase the gap over 1 or both. I'll be sorry to see Arbroath go tbh.
  13. Was just reading the league regulations. Rule 134 states: "That is not in the interest of Rangers tears." Seems pretty cut and dried unfortunately.
  14. Hearing that Dundee tried to inform travelling Rangers supporters earlier, but there was an issue with the email getting lost.
  15. I'm very much looking forward to seeing some more "cheers, wee man is gutted" , "are dundee fc gonae refund me for my flights and hotel?" type crying posts.
  16. Yes, but only after you have auctioned off your seat to the highest bidder. #wearebigtime
  17. I still feel like this. I think its normal and tbh i think it is a good thing to have a little. From when I was at University, to job interviews in my industry, to day to day at work - I felt huge imposter syndrome. The important thing is that I definitely feel it decreases. After a while you realise you've been doing what you do for a while and you're good at it - and you think, why was I worried? I'm fine. If you're committed to what you're doing, and you make yourself someone that is decent to work with - it all goes fine and you realise that the feeling of belonging increases. From having read some of your posts on threads about your choice of course and your reasons etc, I have no doubt that you are in a very good position to commit to, and work in, the field that you are currently studying. I wouldn't worry too much.
  18. Yeah thats my assumption too. My thoughts on it are, with the club having already stated the intention of developing the other corner of the railway end (we were rejected for the grant i think) - maybe a possible idea for that corner would be to eventually add new catering and toilet block as part of a development. It could serve as the facilities for the away end - meaning that the North Stand could exist independently as a home area. Edit. I am of course getting ahead of myself. I'm just very excited to get back out on the NT tbh. SRE does my nut in quite a bit.
  19. Home supporters having the whole run of North Terrace up to the corner for all games is my dream tbh.
  20. If that is the thinking, I'd love to see him get behind the idea of having home fans use all 3 sides of the terracing when the away support is relatively small, once the NT is open and we can all move round. Not possible in games against clubs that'll bring more than a couple hundred, but I really like having the away support in stand / enclosure and having the terracing being used for home supporters - feels like an extra advantage. In the grand scheme of things it might not make much difference, but from a fans poitn of view i think its great.
