  1. Slightly annoying to be playing 'Decent Morton' rather than the previous 'Bad Morton', although perhaps their manager being in the stand again will mean that the new manager bounce has ended. Imrie seems to have done a very good job so far.
  2. Ah, are those the lies which the "sheeple" believe, while global geopolitical analysts like yourself (probably with tenure at a prestigious research institute...?) have a much clearer and deeply informed view af all the permutations? What lies, specifically? Just an idea - but no-one actually knows what is going to happen in Ukraine, so unless you have a hotline to the Kremlin and Vladimir Vladimirovich has confided in you personally, maybe it's you who are making "feeble minded" claims.
  3. He obviously thinks Ross McIver is capable of scoring a goal...
  4. Feels like a throwback to the Alan Archibald era, conceding at the death. That would have been a very, very useful 3 points.
  5. I'd say the state of the pitch is a fairly clear example of incompetent stewardship of the club by the current board/Chairman/CEO. - and it may well affect our chances of promotion this season. Someone shared this under the club's facebook announcement. Dear oh dear.
  6. Jane Lewis last night from Stark's Park "Ehhhhh.... there's been a goal here. I didn't see it and I've no idea what happened. I'll find out who scored".
  7. Over 50 pages on this terrible decision now. Impressive stuff. I wonder how RR are going to get out of this? It'd clearly be reckless from a business point of view as well as a moral one to play this guy. Maybe loan him back to Clyde (as close to footballing invisibility as it's possible to get within the league) or alternatively just rip up the contract and tell him it's off and he's welcome to sue? Even if he never plays a game for them, their reputation as a club has taken a massive hit.
  8. My goodness, I had forgotten all about Your Sinclair. Memories... 1. Football Manager 2. Jet Set Willy 2 (loads of extra rooms) 3. Uridium 4. WEC Le Mans 5. Bomb Jack
  9. Great take until you notice that they won today, away.
  10. If you knew about the addiction and circumstances leading to his departure first time around, why did you ask why he "walked out" on the club?
  11. F*ck the BBC. We'd probably make more money from ticket sales than from the pittance they pay for covering the Scottish Championship.
  12. This is remarkable stuff. I assume having invoked Godwin's Law straight away, this particular Sellick blogger has only accidentally aligned his side with Stalin's USSR - a state known for its doublespeak, constant paranoia, moral bankruptcy, and treatment of its masses of loyal proles as unquestioning units of production rather than humans. Hopefully in the decades to come Celtic will go the same way as the decrepit Soviet Union.
  13. Very belated Happy New Year to all. I'm still to open this Christmas treat but looking forward to it.
  14. Is that for Lagavulin 16? If so, very disappointing. I would say it used to be underpriced/great value for many years when it was under/around £50. Now it's going the other way. The last time I remember this sort of leap being so annoying was when Bunna 18 went from £80 to £125 in quite a short space of time.
  15. Nope, not sure given the info supplied. Collies (especially marl ones) often have different coloured eyes and Willow looks like a cracker.
  16. Well done Arbroath - you have a very strong side this season so this is well deserved.
  17. Yaaaaassssssssssssssssssssssssssss Thank you, foggy goalscorer whoever you are. ETA: That's almost as pleasing as the time we didn't lose to Cowdenbeath in the fog in our glorious promotion season because it definitely never happened.
  18. He was indeed - and didn't cost much either if I remember right. Pretty sure he would improve most Scottish Championship squads this season even though he's getting on a bit (52) now.
  19. ICT have spent 12 seasons in the top flight since the turn of the millenium, won the Scottish cup, played in Europe, and been to the LC final. They're also top of the league right now. Fair enough if your definition of "big" is something other than "successful" (perhaps you think fanbase is the most important thing - which presumably means you classify 'Falkirk' as big?). However, if ICT are a small team, what does that make Morton? A one word answer will do.
  20. Fern, recovering after some river fetch and swim.
