  1. Beat the team 3rd bottom and you win the league? Potentially, that's a pretty bold statement. With teeth attached .......
  2. A Coronavirus panel?. Let me see.........who could possibly sit on it? Kris Boyd for starters. Steven Thomson. Kris Commons. I'm sure you can see the pattern.........
  3. The pitch at Balmoor was voted 2nd best (grass) playing surface in Scotland. Second only go the surface at Forthbank. It always looks in top nick if a bit on the soft side underfoot, but never much problem with it.
  4. Our last easy win was against RR last November. It's all turned to excrement since.
  5. A daft rule? The Scottish football authorities have A daft rule. The whole book is daft, not just one rule.
  6. I didnt think there was much between the sides. A month on from the January window and we're struggling to find any kind of balance. I think if we could win two games on the trot it would put pressure on Forfar and Clyde, but likewise if either of them got a couple of wins.......... Lots of scrappy games to come.
  7. No, no! Sometimes the temperature gets above 5 degrees! Last year it was 21st July.
  8. About to head off to the ground. Fine crisp evening, which will no doubt turn into a bollock freezer by K.O!!
  9. Apparently we're going to get a break from the wind(!?). Snow/sleet/rain/ pestilence/ famine and shite refereeing most likely for Tuesday evening. A must win for both clubs really. Which means put your money on a draw.
  10. Frankly my dear, I dont give a damn if the Trumpet decides to grace us with his presence. The wind will work wonders for his colour.
  11. Sunny. Windy. Cold. Almost a summer day. For us natives. For our much softer southern brethren, it's like Alaska in winter. Had a look at my weather app( and the one my missus uses too, for an average) At the moment it says its 5 degrees, but feels like minus 5.
  12. PFC tried to sign him last summer iirc. He chose full time football which is understandable.
  13. WHAT? Did the SFA/SPFL not learn anything from PFC v Forfar last week? Of course they didnt. What would happen if there was common sense shown?
  14. A better example was the Glasgow v Hibs game. Alloa is more open and akin to Balmoor than is Broadwood.
  15. Raemoss and Barclay are level with Morrisons. Should've built the supermarket where Balmoor Stadium is, and left us in Recreation Park!
  16. The new cafe is very good. Had lunch there on a couple of Sundays. Very reasonable price wise.(I think!)
  17. The correct decision would have been to call it before it started.
  18. The other side of the 'blame game' coin. The Forfar 'keeper complained to the ref when Cook had to place the ball several times at a PFC corner kick when the ball was moving .
  19. Absolute shite. Theres been games played in windier conditions this season. It was no worse 35 minutes in than it was at the start.
  20. That requires the powers in Scottish football to use common sense. Not something they display often.
  21. And also beating the shite out of the advertising boards, if past Peterhead games are anything to go by. Your stewards beat the hoardings? Strange behaviour. Anyway.....the sun is beating down, it's not that windy at this minute in time, but who knows what Ciara could bring at 3pm. Quick look at the forecast and it seems Ciara is going to arrive full on tomorrow(Sunday)? Who knows. Weather forecasters are a bit like referees. Prone to bad decisions.
  22. The first time I saw an online programme was from Barnet a couple of years ago now. Came across it completely by accident. Not sure if there are other clubs doing it, but it seems a sensible option in the age of the internet.
  23. A gentle breeze on Saturday. My Forfar cousins moan about the cold when they come home to visit. They've turned into softies.......or is it bridies? I forget. 1-1. Or, 2-2. Or, It could be some other score.
