  1. First half was a non event really. Two teams struggling for any kind of form/ consistency. Second half saw Peterhead the better side. The pen miss was a honker by Lyle. Thought the lob was over the line, but to be fair to the linesman he was where he should be. In all it could have been a more comfortable win, but any win will do in the circumstances.
  2. I dont know if the loss of McAllister will be as big a blow as first thought. Like yourself , fans of other clubs most likely saw him play 4 times a season .......if they do away games, twice if they dont ...........Peterhead fans saw him every second week and he has struggled with staying fit, leading to him starting games as a substitute. Personally I think the time was right for him to go. For himself ,and for Peterhead.
  3. Good interview. With quite a number of fans slating J McI. on a regular basis ,its good to hear something positive on the man and his management.
  4. Ever since I started speaking to Cove? After you'd signed , Rory? Lol.
  5. That's a clue? The names of two directors? It may well be to you and others, but the only name I know is Rodger Morrison. The rest I dont have a scooby as to who they are, or indeed as to how many there are ?
  6. Positive clue it looks like? Nothing negative unless the people he mentioned(directors) have moved on? Not that I would know as I dont pay that much attention to the day to day workings of the place. Everything points to it being for his benefit financially.
  7. Sean Connery. Declan McManus.( The real one, not the 'impostor' who plays for Falkirk!) Claudia Schiffer. Ivan the Terrible. Many, many others.
  8. You're probably correct. I get bloody confused with the change of league designation. 3rd division changing to league 2....yada , yada.
  9. It will be pretty much as you say, though if he has someone looking after his affairs(an agent in other words) then he'll know what was on offer. The word here is they've offered him the amount it takes to pay off a mortgage....... Not sure if PFC are happy to let him go, but if what we both think has happened, has in fact happened, then it's pointless trying to keep him. He would be due a testimonial soon, so CR must've come up with the splonders. Apparently Hartley tried to sign him twice when he was manager at Dundee. I hope he realises that the player he signed today is that bit older and has some problems now. Not that I care.
  10. Forget Elgin. If you want comparisons look at Ross County and ICT. Through the league set up and winners of National trophies. We've been in the leagues 20 years and had one chance at the Play off in league one. We have become the very thing the two highland clubs have avoided. Another club stringing along in the lower reaches of the SPFL.
  11. We've already been promoted to league one. We ended up back in league two . It hasn't made any discernible difference to the profile of PFC. We are a lower league club. To be anything more needs monumental change to every aspect of the club.
  12. I can only speak for myself but, it doesnt really bother me if we get relegated. Realistically we are a club that will yo yo between league one , and league two. Much like the rest of the part time clubs.
  13. If we are on the cusp of a rebuild, then 8th will do. If at all possible build the team around Scott Brown.
  14. TBH he's been poor all season, regardless of where on the pitch he has played. It's an odd situation, but I would reckon another club will have offered him a few bob. It's his last chance at a biggish signing on fee.
  15. Hearing Cove are willing to stump up and get him in now. With a testimonial due, Cove may have to offer him a big lump of cash. Not too fussed either way.
  16. Not sure about that? It's your choice. Or is it you're choice? Yours, Confused.
  17. It was indeed Andy Smith. I had his strip for many years( my son wore it) as Andy had gone off to Airdrie and it was gathering dust. I gave it back to PFC on learning they were collecting memorabilia for that title winning year.
  18. Balmoor should never really have a problem with match postponements due to rainfall. Unless it's a monsoon type downpour an hour before K.O. It's an excellent pitch. Well maintained. Frost and snow, yes. No different from other grass pitches that do not have under soil heating.
  19. Its 'gone out of their way'. Not 'went' . The rest of your post is of a similar calibre.
