Indeed. Expenses play a big part in the budget at PFC. IIRC we had guys travelling from the Dumfries area for a couple of seasons, and much of the reat of the squad are central belt.

There was little or no wind. That may explain the overhit passes. Usually a slight breeze at Balmoor( or as the southern softies call it , a gale). And we cant expect the average footballer to adapt too quickly...........

Close...... A good win for Blue Toon. Players recovering from injury and a reasonably settled side makes a difference.

We seem to be struggling to get players fit enough to get some sort of continuity. As I said pre season, staying up is the prime consideration. If we can get any points at all from the full time teams that will be a bonus, but losing ...as we did on Saturday.....to teams around us may see us back in L2. Falkirk with a comfortable win on Saturday for me. Hope I'm wrong though.

A fair summary. A draw would've been a fair result, but I think ourselves and The Sons are in our rightful positions and will probably be happy to stay in this league at seasons end.
