  1. yes, he is will known for his strategic and subtle posturing. Perhaps a better explanation would be the absolute mess deploying Trump tactics of projection and peppering.
  2. Liam Kelly seems to be doing pretty well. A few teams linked to Clark but St Johnstone's poor form maybe not doing him much favours - no idea whether his form has dipped or not. If Marshall gets a few more games on this run then am pretty sure he will be no 2 to Gordon. Kelly no 3 as things stand I would say.
  3. the "wage thief" manages three clean sheets in his first four games for QPR -
  4. Sugar: "Gold, absolute gold. Tech like the "I-pod" will be in the bin by next Xmas but this will shape comms for years to come......"
  5. Smacks of uber subject Ben Fogle trying to get everyone in to their gardens to sing Happy Birthday to the Queen during lockdown. Faced with a backlash he throws his daughter under the bus by saying it was her idea all along. What is it with these people who wish to foist their uber fawning and servitude on to everyone else - is it a) an attempt to try and pass off their bizarre leanings as normal?; b) Is it really about honours and some kind of recognition?; or c) do they really think people up and down the country have the same feelings to the Royal Family as they have within their little bubble?; d) all of the above
  6. "he is alright but he is no Scott Dobie"
  7. Captain Sensible bringing some long need heavyweight analysis to the TA section.
  8. ha I know. Everyone to their one tastes and all that but am always taken aback whenever you see such fawning and complete enjoyment over something you find to be completely utterly awful.
  9. a guy I know who doesn't even play golf refers to the European Ryder Cup team as we/us......
  10. Quoting self again Booth and Lambert at Dortmund maybe?? Not sure if they played together when there?
  11. forgive me quoting myself ha This is what we like to see - potentially two young Scottish players playing in the same team in a top flight European league! I wonder when the last time, or if at all, that happened (obviously not applying the English league here). I hope it is a move that Ramsay makes assuming Aberdeen get a figure closer to their valuation (and that he doesn't go somewhere like Brentford :)) Bologna's bid of £3.3m for right-back Calvin Ramsay is below Aberdeen's valuation for the teen as Dons manager Stephen Glass warns last-ditch bids will only drive up the asking price. 12. I defy anyone to watch this and not want to stick knitting needles into their ear drums. Not new to this "comedy" voice-over, it is though the comments that completely fascinate me including the woman who returns to the clip whenever she needs a laugh.....
  13. I make huge efforts to avoid having to ask someone something, particularly in shops.
  14. Was curious after seeing this and note this is your first post after joining 5 month ago. Remarkable.
  15. I like the taste and smell of bacon and sausages. I don't however like the idea of eating meat from an ethical perspective and I hate gristle and fat. Plant based "meat products" are my go to - some are significantly better than others. Beyond Meat burgers are superb - if I did go back to eating meat I would continue to eat Beyond Meat I reckon.
  16. and Shandong Taishan are probably bigger than both teams but that doesn't mean that Hickey should move to the Chinese league. A young domestically developed Scot playing regularly for a Serie A team in his first full season is great to see - it is interesting to now note Bologna and other Italian teams being linked with other Scottish players (am sure Henderson perhaps also contributing to this). In terms of career trajectory, Hickey moving to Brentford would be disappointing and quite a depressing move for anyone with a keen interest in the development of Scottish talent and from a national team perspective. . *No disrespect to Brentford etc etc
  17. It is akin to the BBC and ITV WC coverage when a bunch of privileged ex footballers have a wee laugh at not being able or bothered to provide an iota of analysis on say a North Macedonia or a Venezuela outside of attempting to name check anyone connected to those countries that has a tenuous link to the English Premiership. The difference being Packie Bonner pitches most weeks knowing next to nothing about any of the (will invariably be Celtic's) opposition. Played in the Scottish league for years, clearly still retains an interest in Celtic, is employed and paid to provide an analysis, and after all this time his knowledge outwith Celtic probably extends to being able to name most (not all) the managers and a couple of Scottish Premiership goalies. "the big Livingston lad up front, cuts in from the left..... "the Hibs central midfielder, not sure if it is Allan [who is on the bench] or one of their new signings..." etc etc But as you point out, and this is in line with one of my friend's thinking, too many ex Rangers pundits there and its good that Bonner is employed to give some "balance".
  18. me: G12 8BL whatever call centre: That is D for Delta and L for Lima? me: no it B for eh.....B for.......Bus and L for Lima Very occasionally I remember Bravo. More often than not am looking about the flat or out the window for inspiration to try and remember words starting with B - and usually it's Banana that comes to me.
  19. aside from not understanding Scottish football structures, did anyone mention any of the Talbot players having to put a "shift" in last week and maybe even some on the morning of the game? No player for an amateur or junior team every works in an office according to pundits - they all work down mines....
