  1. Irvine Meadow XI 2-3 Clydebank Troon 3-1 Kilwinning Rangers Rutherglen Glencairn 2-1 Shotts Bon Accord Whitletts Victoria 4-2 Neilston Glasgow United 0-3 Renfrew Lesmahagow Juniors 4-6 (why no) Lanark United Sounds like a laugh It's all been good fun, even though my form since Xmas has been horrific
  2. Did Inverkeithing not drop all bit the Swifts part of their name or something like that a couple of seasons ago but nobody really bothered and bashed on calling them IHS regardless?
  3. "he was a boy, I was a girl" F**k me, teenage idols n all that
  4. I would be surprised if they broke into that top 8, but they've surprised me so far. The whole league has been surprisingly good, I worried the gulf between top and bottom would be too much but everyone has had their say at some point and there hasn't been many cricket scores.
  5. I would say 'best of the rest' and by a decent margin over teams like Arbroath Vics and Forfar Utd. Brilliant progress so far. Where would that put them in the east or west leagues? Are they as good as most teams in the EoS Division 1 or more top half of Div 2?
  6. There's some defending going on by folk who went to the game as neutrals and probably never set foot in Brora or Dudgeon Park.
  7. Arthurlie 2-2 Hurlford united Kilwinning Rangers 1-3 Largs Thistle St. Roch's 2-3 Benburb Whitletts Victoria 4-2 Shotts Bon Accord Craigmark Burntonians 2-0 Maryhill East Kilbride Thistle 1-4 Irvine Victoria
  8. Don't bother, just ignore them. It's a known troll account who only comes out to stir the pot when this stuff kicks off... thought we had lost him to Fitba North but some jobbies are more stubborn than others
  9. And not an Aldi bag in sight... Great moment for the club and brilliantly captured for future generations. Well done all at Beith
  10. That's what I thought, did think there was something not right there! Had to get the fingers and toes out to make sure I hadn't forgotten anyone
  11. Do they actually have half a chance of getting Crookur? Or will this just turn into another Rossvale, Edinburgh South, Syngenta carry on where they've no chance of laying roots where they claim to come from and just bumble about trashing other teams' parks?
  12. Tbf, it's just unfortunate geography with these Borders towns, Selkirk was/is always the same. Build a town in the middle of a tight valley, the only flat land to make a football or rugby pitch is at the bottom next to the river. Showed up to Selkirk away twice and BOTH times got a late call off as the park was waterlogged. Hawick was slightly better but that because they ammys played at Wilton Park and the water would just run straight down the hill, through the bottom goals and into the river! Maybe HRA need to move the old stand brick by brick to Wilton and just deal with the slope?!
  13. Putting the whole ground on stilts would help...
  14. I wouldn't be too smug Shire fans. If it wasnt for your club shitting the bed last season the moment things got tough in the LL and allowing these 2 the foot in the door, then we might not be in this mess now...
  15. What's worrying is the LL clubs making major decisions based on absolutely no detials. No one knows whether it will be 10 or 12 teams No one knows what will happen with 'club 42' No one knows how this 'prize money' will be distributed No one knows how it will affact League/challenge Cup places or Scottish Cup places for tier 6 champions No one knows the registration details/rules around these B teams (i.e. Are they allowed to play for their parent clubs during the season) It's so amateurish and embarrassing to think these clowns run football in this country
  16. They're just a wee village who would be somewhere between the bottom of the HL and the NCL if it wasn't for 1 man's wallet. Wasn't that long ago they were crying about having to play a playoff for promotion because they didn't fancy the extra travelling
  17. Only 22 miles to Lanark though It's funny but not a reason to question their league position. In my line of work, you find boundaries are a strange beast with many exceptions to the rule!
  18. Don't forget that Celtic are handing out signed shirts too
  19. At least the SFA will get some of their bribe money back when they block any unlicensed tier 6 champions bring able to participate in the Scottish Cup as they'll now be tier 7. No more appearances from clubs like Beith, Carnoustie, Downfield, Invergordon, Loch Ness, Culter, etc will save them a few quid on appearance money...
  20. Have you seen any of them play recently?! They'd struggle in any top amateur league
  21. Lochore is a 'great' pitch at this level. I can't imagine it's a nightmare to play on, especially for an away team with a late kickoff and fading light, which Lochore use to their advantage and fair play to them. The surroundings and pitch size play with your senses and makes it feel tiny. Lochore make sure they have a 'bigger' squad to bully teams on it. A little bit like a well known ammy team from Edinburgh, which is probably why they never win any big cups...
