  1. Can Killie afford his wages? They don't seem to be keen on spending £3-4k a week on players, plus we'll be after a sizable fee. I'm not against him leaving but only it makes the decision to punt Clark look even more foolish. Weird that Anaku has been paraded on the media rounds and still has yet to make an appearance since the World Cup.
  2. Andor and The Traitors were very enjoyable
  3. Surprised there's not a thread already, but anyway: Reduced Prices, a singing Section, a huge game for both clubs - what could possibly go wrong? If United can play with the same intensity as Christmas Eve, then that should be enough, but presuming that Fletcher is out will be a massive loss. I would prefer to Happy get a start as well. 2-1 United and finishing the year off the bottom
  4. Das Leben der Anderen is an excellent shout - one of the best thrillers I've ever seen. Going to change my list now.
  5. Really sad to hear, thoughts with his family and all that knew him.
  6. Too late for that now as continental confederations have already designed their qualifying tournaments. It'll be 48 teams. What I hope is that we have the 12 groups of 4 teams with the top two progressing and the best 8 group winners getting a bye to the Round of 16, which should mean that every game has something riding on it.
  7. Ditto. Major issues are more like the fact that Ian Crocker and Andy Walker are still on Sky's coverage, the fact Sky doesn't even fill their commitment of matches, the pitiful highlights offering and complete lack of magazine show.
  8. It's great telly, only three episodes left and I was quite hoping Maddy goes, as she's pissing me off quite a bit tbf. Meryl's been very quiet and no one really has mentioned her at this point, but Amanda was playing some game but might have fucked up voting Theo off. Wilf was playing dangerously close to the wind early on and I really hope his constant backstabbing gets him to win.

  10. The BBC will publicly consider the matter closed as another one (see Steven Thompson's Instagram post this evening) arises. They won't do or say anything for a few months before dropping TC and possibly Cosgrove at the end of the season and bringing in some younger presenters for next season, probably Ray Bradshaw and Amy Irons - who both seem to be flavour of the month at Pacific Quay.
  11. St Mirren Final SPL season at Love Street: 4,537 Last Covid-unaffected season at St Mirren Park (in Premiership): 5,436 (Although they've bumbled around 4,500) Falkirk Last First Division season at Brockville: 2,631 Last covid-unaffected season at Grangemouth (also in 2nd tier): 4,742 Then you have Clyde which have dropped from over 2k average to 700 and moved again, Airdrie who died. FC Edinburgh wasn't a move though, just a rebuild.

  13. Aye it's quite decent, one thing to watch out for in S2 is that there's a special "International Women's Day" episode which is just cringeworthily bad.
  14. Yeah they're all on iPlayer as I've found out.
  15. So apparently this was a real call made to BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Northern Ireland animated them into short stories and this is just something else:
  16. There are options tbf - like doing what Caligari and Rijeka did and building a temporary home at Kingsford for a season, or even moving to the P&J Live (Okay maybe that's a stretch) Building a big 7k seater temp stand at the Balmoral to be dismantled right after. Plenty options available but Cormack will just moan for ages instead
  17. Didn't watch Brazil vs Croatia then...
  18. Get out of here with your common sense. The other option, is of course to build a 16-18k seater with the option to relatively easily expand it to 20-25k in future. But it seems that Aberdeen are set on backing themselves into as much of a corner as possible.
  19. Another shout for Slaters - always good service imo.
  20. Far better having an Alcohol sponsor than a Gambling or Crypto sponsor. Also good when it's a local business like when Eden Mill were United's sponsor.
