  1. Mairi McAllan would be a shout tbf - very impressed with her and she doesn't seem to have views on the Trans community from the 1800s like Cherry or Forbes
  2. Last two episodes of the Bad Batch were excellent. Fair play to them, really built it up and it's always great to see characters from CW and Rebels get more time.
  3. I haven't seen the Forfar one, but have seen enough of Dazza and Natalie(?) on social media before and the other ones they've done and its meh - they're alright. Is it laugh out loud funny? No. Is it enjoyable enough content to have on in the background while I scour Pie and Bovril? Yeah, yeah it is. It's hardly the worst thing BBC Scotland has ever produced.
  4. Having a feeling that's lights out for Lochee United's aspirations - and the pyramid nerds hope for a Midlands League promotion. Unless Downfield are working on a licence, I know their ground has the physical requirements - but the admin is not that straightforward to get done.
  5. Better episode this week, more of a return to form, and less of the "antics" more actually bringing the plot forward.
  6. Jock Brown was doing the World Feed commentary for Paramount+ and Viaplay Nordics, as the game had been picked for International broadcast. Mark Hatley usually does it with him?
  7. What you mean that man that has done exactly that when it comes to Celtic, Rangers and Hearts Colt sides stinking out the Lowland League?
  8. He was always a horrible p***k. Deeply misogynistic as well, I think because of the total focus people had on independence in that era, it got lost. I think since Brexit and the fallout of that, and Trump, we've seen a lot of these shysters for who they actually are.
  9. My own preference is for Tier 8 to become districtised into Central, Ayrshire and it's also where the South can take it's place.
  10. Shocking news, thoughts with his family.
  11. Still think the SFA could have done a lot more to speed up the process, including threatening to the bar junior clubs from the Scottish Cup. I suppose the club licencing ban for clubs outwith the pyramid (somehow Banks O'Dee and Linlithgow Rose skipped the queue) was also a large push for some clubs. Anyway, we've eventually found a system that's about right - still kinks to workout with the South and Increased Promotion and Relegation, but it's nearly there. Just need to get shot of those bloody B Teams now...
  12. Yeah probably, but those clubs have to be promoted as they decided to stay as a big fish in the small junior pond. It was only when Kelty and Dalkeith left in the East to join the EoS in 2018 that those clubs became suddenly interested in joining the pyramid. Can an argument be made to increase promotion and relegation between tier 5 and tier 6? Sure. But there's no reason to have a go at the Lowland League clubs that first took the plunge into the unknown in 2013, when all the Junior clubs were dismissive of the Lowland League and many ridiculed it. Funny how times change.
  13. Because it's been discussed to death on here over the past 10 years or so.
  14. You might have been out of the house, or at work. There's absolutely no reason for him to open with that. Bizarre and really amatuerish.
  15. Bit of a shambles today opening with Hibs vs Aberdeen, but Thommo said before the highlights that "Jim Goodwin and Aberdeen had parted company after their defeat at Easter Road". Why would he say that before the match highlights?
  16. Tbh I think the current set up in the North is absolutely fine until more clubs get licenced. Given the travel in that part of the world, asking clubs like Orkney to travel to Stonehaven seems a bit silly. Maybe in 5-10 years time a HL2 will form with the best of each league and then the current T6 leagues will drop down to Tier 7 and still play locally - and in their respective regional cups against the Tier 6 and Tier 5 clubs. But yeah, long way off that.
  17. Yeah I've tried putting that out of my mind, as I presume most of it was filmed prior to the Ukraine war - but yeah you can tell where Michael Bay had his influence
  18. It's a "We'll make it up as we go along" knowing UEFA Reading Bert's forums a few think it will be 4 UNL + 12 RU for the World Cup Playoffs, but there's confusion over fitting 12 matches into the schedule for WC/Euro Qualifying with this new Quarter Final stage of the Nations League
  19. The frustrating thing with Bad Batch is 4/5 episodes have been filler with the last two adding nothing to the plot. Season One was great and the filler episodes actually had a point, hopefully we'll have a return to form soon.
  20. Season 1 is pretty decent - 8/10 Season 2 is very good for 7 episodes before degrading into absolute fantasy in the final episode - 6/10 Season 3 is a solid 7.5/10 - James Cosmo really saves it.
  21. Killie at home, is a bit boring but will take that. A winnable game at home - just glad it's not one of the Big Two or Thistle who we manage to play every season. Decent chance to get into the Last 8
  22. "Random Matches You Are Going To that get postponed at the last minute after passing a pitch inspection 3 hours earlier" thread for this pish imo
