  1. I'm sure there's a thread for it somewhere but Married at First Sight Australia has been absolutely batshit insane. There's always a few arseholes, but this series has probably had the most vacuous, nasty and rotten piece of work I've ever seen on any of these shows, and worst of all she's supposed to be a Nurse! There's also a guy who blatantly just goes in to stir up shit. Incredible television. Yes, I hate myself for watching but I just can't look away.
  2. Duk won't be at Aberdeen long. He could easily be another transfer record for them. Cracking player. Annoyingly
  3. Could you just not post his entire twitter history.
  4. BBC list him as freelancer - and will pay him expenses plus a fee when he's needed. The number of people you hear on Sportsound that actually work for the BBC as employees is surprisingly small. The reporters and commentators are mostly from a pool of "freelancers" that they have, the "hired" a bunch of them a few months ago.
  5. Ayina was probably Man of the Match today, I know Fletcher was excellent (bar that miss) but Ayina really has upped his game quickly at Tannadice. We need to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer. He's only 19 as well, so would have a decent re-sale value
  6. If Killie can have Apple Wallet tickets then the Scottish FA can. The best Tickets App out there was the one I used for The Open, you could transfer tickets between phones if sharing with mates etc.
  7. This is one (of many) issues with the Colt Teams, is that due to their other commitments (First XI, Youth Internationals, UEFA Youth League, Glasgow Cup) the quality of their Starting XI can vary massively from a team full of players that have played at first team level, to effectively an U18 side, and it makes a total mockery of the league as a result. The fact is that Dalbeattie could escape relegation because Celtic aren't bothered seems particularly unfair.
  8. Worth noting that those extra 20 games - which are 2 packages of 10 matches - are matches that probably won't involve the Old Firm as there at the "Other 10's" grounds. Absolutely baffling that you can have a centralised league TV deal where two clubs get special treatment. £10 charity bet that Viaplay snap them up at about £2m each - half of what the SPFL want. The new Sky deal is a complete shambles, and the EFL getting the best part of £200m a season proves it. People should be resigning at club and league level over this.
  9. Avoid defeat next weekend against Tranent (A), and win their two remaining matches against Cowdenbeath (H) and Berwick (A) and that's the league title for Spartans, and a HAHAHAHHAHAA from all football fans toward the Old Firm
  10. To be fair to the BBC I think the difference with what they did today and SSB/Your Call, was that all the callers were fans that kind of knew what they were talking about, I think some of them may also be fan bloggers on the BBC Sport website. I thought it worked relatively well, the musical interludes were a bit odd, but it was far better than Off The Ball. Fair play to them trying something a bit different. Hope they keep with it.
  11. In theory, Luxembourg should be considerably better than some countries such as Iceland or Latvia that have qualified for major tournaments. Given that they have a decent population 650k - more than double Iceland - and unlike Iceland or Latvia football is a sport that can be played all year round AND is the main sport. They also have the added bonus of being the world's richest country, and surrounded by four of the best footballing cultures and leagues with France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium on their doorstep. They've also just opened a brand new national stadium, which is like a cross between New Douglas Park and St Mirren Park and holds about 8,000. I think it's more a mystery that they've been the whipping boys for so long than anything else. Their natural level should be akin to Northern Ireland, not Liechtenstein and Andorra.
  12. Rugby was on and so was Motherwell vs Rangers. It's back on tomorrow.
  13. A very exciting end to that game. Frustrating that we couldn't win it in the end, but we're definitely seeing improvement under Goodwin, the changes late on were needed after being under the cosh for a while, and Niskanen and Cudjoe really did provide an extra outlet - if only one of them could score! Still it's a point closer to County, and no further away from Killie. Nine games left, it's just about salvageable.
  14. Were they? I thought Djoum was awful when he came on. The others were pretty decent. Goodwin is looking a solid appointment.
  15. I don't see how that's any different to what we already know - the HL can still refuse, the SPFL Clubs can still reject it. The vote this week wasn't binding so I can't see how anything has changed, yet.
  16. Can we include Sharron Davies in this for being a terf?
  17. Maybe, and this might be a shock here, Craig was correct, I'm yet to see anyone point to evidence to the contrary. It's fucking weird for a TV and Radio personality like Tam to search his own name on Twitter and Pie and Bovril and then get upset and try to gaslight a pile-on when people call him out for being a homophobic, sexist auld fud. Also please Tam, stopping using music in your stories, its cringey af.
  18. DUFC Central is a wrong-un, spends most of his time sending sexist abuse at people on twitter.
  19. Tam is loving this discussion btw, posting both @craigkillie and @Highland Capital's posts to his story today at 2am by the looks of it. A very interesting fella.
  20. This, completely reeks of the misogyny and light-homophobia. Can someone please teach him how to use Instagram Stories properly, he doesn't need to put a song on every single post. Stewart, Cosgrove and Cowan get away with what they like as they'll be seen as "freelance contributors". BBC Scotland are so small-time that as long as no-one says anything overtly politically (on-air) surrounding the constitution then they'll be fine. Even then Levein got away with slagging Sturgeon. Thompson (and Leanne Crichton) however, are effectively like Lineker, a pan-BBC (Scotland) figure, and should be probably held to higher standard. But then again, this is a broadcaster that had Graeme Spiers, who spends his days supporting every sexist and homophobe, appear as an expert on homophobia in Zander Murray's new documentary.
  21. I think most would like the original four/five on most weeks - but they've been quite open about how wiped out they are by the end of it - it's always good to rotate. I like Tony on the pods and think he's pretty decent on the show. Amy's alright, and she certainly knows a lot more than most when it comes to SWPL. Think she's quite good on the interviews on the Friday games. They still know far more than 95% of the people on the other BBC Scotland shows, and they do have genuine passion for the game, so they're alright in my book. Could you imagine if Allan "Biscuits" Preston or Pat Bonner was on instead. *shudders*
