Is he better than McKay and Hall, dare say we will get the answer soon when fans of his previous clubs give us the now customary “he is shite” update.

I understand your point here to the issues GB has raised. My question would be then what exactly is Holts role at the club. I know you are in the same camp with regards to him being punted, I would just love to know what he does if it’s not identifying players to sign.

I’m coming up to the nearly 50 years mark of watching Falkirk and this is definitely the worst squad. The thing that strikes me about how bad we are is there is not one player I would be upset about leaving. We have had crap squads in the past but there has always been a gem or a couple of decent players mixed amongst them, this is not the case with this lot. This could be the name created for a collective of shite football players going forward. Feck me that is a “Holt” of a team we have here.

Yeah, this is what we need to know from the new board.

Do you think it be worth the club putting out some form of communication telling fans what the specific remits are of the likes of Rennie, Holt etc. I very much doubt it but we could all be painting Holt as the anti-Christ and blaming him for stuff that has got zero to do with him.

I understand the position you are in as you probably know a lot more of what is going on than you can share on social media but there has to be some communication from the club regarding Holt. I like you and probably like most of us know loads of Falkirk fans and I’ve yet to meet one with a positive thing to say about the guy. He is a major issue at our club, he is stopping fans investing in the club and stopping others buying season tickets. There needs to be communication from the club with regards to why Sheerin and Grainger left yet for me an even bigger issue is still at the club.

The board really need to come out and tell the fans what’s going on with regards to Holt and his remit. If he has been given a say in what players we get in January then we need told. Also if there are issues with regards to relieving him of his duties then tell us. Punting him is the one thing that could unite the majority of fans and get us behind the board, I can’t understand why they wouldn’t see this.

I think Nesbitt and Telfer could be decent if they were in the right team. The rest could all go for me.

I used to think he was a decent player, I take that back as he is as shit as the rest. I retired the year Hartley assembled the squad from hell that got us relegated and my workmates gave me a signed shirt. I used to joke that it would be a collectors item as it was the worst Falkirk squad ever. I am 100% sure that motley crue would pump this absolute shit shower. Holt should be run out of town tonight.

In a game of two teams, being less shite than the other is all you need.

Clyde have been the much better side and deserve this. We are murder in defence, pish in midfield and shite up front. Apart from that we have the makings of a decent team.

If they do a ballot for the Dumbarton game and I get offered a ticket I will tell them to give it to someone else. I’ve just renewed and think those who have been suffering all season she get first dabs on tickets, plus I’m happy sitting watching in the warm house on TV.

As an aside, 2300 season ticket holders for a league one club is remarkable given what we have been served up the past 3/4 years.

I agree with this, but I think you just have to do what’s best to try and protect you and yours. I still wear a mask and I’ve been triple jagged, my father in law is in a nursing home and I visit him regularly so I feel I’ve got to try and do what I can to protect him and the staff there that I come into contact with. I can understand that a lot of young folk feel this isn’t an illness that affects them and I get how some of these decisions seem bizarre in that you can get more folk in shopping centres than at football grounds that are outside. I wouldn’t like to be the one having to make these decisions as you aren’t going to please everyone.
