  1. Miller's Crossing Coen Bros film set in the prohibition era. Gabriel Byrne is a gangster who gets caught up in a deadly web of backstabbing and deceit. Very good. 8/10
  2. Dude looks like one of the cajuns from Southern Comfort.
  3. Does 2007 count as "old"? Anyway I'm currently listening to B/E/A/T/B/O/X by Glass Candy. A decent album even though it's about as "hipster" as it gets.
  4. Their bar in Dundee is really good and it survived the lockdown.
  5. Just getting the glass ready... This is quite nice. A good raspberry flavour and a slightly tart finish.
  6. A new one from the Williams Brothers. It's nice enough. A decent craft Pilsner with a slight orange flavour.
  7. Are you watching some kind of femdom porn film there?
  8. Chilli con carne. It's not difficult. Just a load of steak mince, some tomatoes and peppers, a tin of kidney beans and if I'm feeling adventurous I'll throw in some pancetta/lardons just to give it extra flavour and texture. If I've got a jar of olives, I'll throw a few of those in too. I'll spice it up so that it's fairly hot but not so hot that it rips me a new arsehole in the morning. I don't bother with rice. I'll have it with some crusty bread and grated cheese.
  9. Excellant result. I thought St J were fucked at first, as they really had their backs to the wall for the first 20 mins or so but they came back into and I'm now disappointed that they didn't win. Do the job in Perth lads.
  10. Aside from Montrose, I'd go for Airdrie. The diamond is unique and iconic. I love traditional old style kits.
  11. Entry to the match = £15 Getting to watch the coolest fitba team in the universe = priceless
  12. Five Thirty released one album and a handful of singles in 1990 and 1991 before completely disapearring. Sounds kinda dated now but I can't help thinking that they'd have had more success a few years later in the Britpop era.
  13. Classic film. I've always wanted to live in his hoose. Its called The High Tower.
  14. I may have posted this before, I can't be arsed checking. Just to be on the safe side I'm posting it again.
  15. These Saka memes will never grow old. They will never stop being funny.
  16. The burd on the Sweetheart Stout can is W Axl Rose's mother in law.
  17. I was in Antwerp with a mate who was born and bred in Dundee and seldom travels abroad. We went into a well known bar that has a beer menu the size of a telephone directory. My mate asked for a pint of lager tops. His reasoning was that he hadn't heard of these Belgian beers so they must be shite. Another mate of mine went to Berlin on a stag weekend. The group that he was with spent the entire weekend in the Irish pub in the Europa centre watching sky sports.
  18. Aldi used to sell Berliner Kindl but they stopped a few years ago. Lovely stuff it is too.
  19. Cheers fellahs, I was aware that Airdrie were at home today as my own team bent them over and humped them dry. I didn't make the connection to the OF Colts. Like you all say, this is the sort of shit that should have been ironed out weeks ago.
  20. What was the skinny with the old firm B game today? It's showing as postponed on the BBC website. Are they all suffering from covid or something?
