  1. Further to this, we have the BBC going with this question. They know exactly what they are doing and it does absolutely nothing to help the matter, it just stokes the flames even more. Arseholes.
  2. I gave you my reasons as to why I had doubts Parks was involved. Whether you agree or not, you’re coming across as very patronising here. Have a good night.
  3. I had my doubts given there were no indicators that Parks have a sponsorship deal with Rangers. I thought it was going to be with Tomket Tires in all honesty given they were one of our most recent sponsors and operate in the automotive industry. I bow down to your superior deductive reasoning skills, however.
  4. I think Tavernier will find himself in a difficult situation now. If he does make a gesture then it’ll just be written off as a token gesture because Brown done it. If he doesn’t make a gesture, then he will be criticised for not doing anything. Those in the media have already started to speculate and make it a thing when it really doesn’t need to be.
  5. Ach, we all know spelling isn’t the forte of Celtic fans considering they unfurled a banner missing the “i” out of their own teams name
  6. Sounds like that is the case now, which is disappointing to be honest. I’d hoped that this would be sorted sooner rather than later but it seems the arbitration will still go ahead, just with Parks included as an interested party. Seems the SPFL weren’t keen for that to happen.
  7. Seems Rangers have taken the action you’ve suggested. The individuals have been banned from Ibrox and the Supporters Club have been banned from receiving future tickets.
  8. This is then verging on strict liability though, and risks punishing those who have done no wrong whatsoever. For example, if a member of said supporters club never even attended the match, you think it is fair and reasonable that they would be punished for actions committed by someone else while not even in their presence?
  9. While it would certainly make a statement, I don’t think is entirely practical. For any of those participating in the sickening behaviour, there could be any number of others who weren’t. Additionally, anyone that’s been on these away trips knows that supporters clubs often share busses and have non-members travelling so I don’t think it would be fair or reasonable to punish all. I wholeheartedly agree those involved should be punished, and Rangers have confirmed they are already working to identify them, I just don’t think a blanket approach is the answer.
  10. You framed it as though he found racism laughable, which of course is not what was being said.
  11. You must be gutted those one season wonders done it the season you’d all been fantasising about for a decade, eh.
  12. While our form and performances haven’t been great of late, Gerrard does generally seem to be able to get the team playing relatively well in these matches, with a couple of exceptions. He has also been used to going into these matches as underdogs as well so I’m hoping that stands us in good stead.
  13. Some improvements in that performance but again looking very vulnerable in periods. We were quite dominant and quite possibly should’ve scored more. Morelos the stand out performer for me. But, again back to the defending which seems to be coming from lapses in concentration. We know they are capable of better than this so I’m hoping they can get it ironed out and quickly. For all the chat that Celtic are a bombscare at the back, we’re not faring any better at the moment. As an aside, curiosity got the better of me and I had a look for that video. Horrible behaviour. No doubt they’ll get identified and end up with a sore face and it will be entirely deserved.
  14. This game is the perfect example of what Morelos does so well movement wise. The County defenders don’t know when to press him or when to drop off.
  15. It’s impressive to score a shin roller when the ball is on the deck. Morelos, a man of many talents.
  16. Dominant display thus far with plenty of positives but a really poor moment where we completely switched off and were second to react has given County a lifeline. We should be out of sight here yet we’ve done our best to make it difficult.
  17. That’s a completely moot point though. The fact is the allocation was cut and both clubs have sold unrestricted season tickets so it’s literally impossible to have the allocations increased again until that changes, meaning that piece in the article is complete garbage.
  18. Lyon 0 - 3 Rangers immediately springs to mind. Especially considering this was a Walter Smith Rangers side that was not exactly known for it’s European prowess. More recently battling back from 2 down to beat Braga in the Europa League. An honourable mention for the Scottish Cup Semi Final win over Celtic on penalties. Let’s not discuss the final.
  19. Also, the whole point about “Celtic were looking to enter discussions about reinstating the previous 7,000/8,000 allocations” is also nonsense given that both clubs have sold unrestricted season tickets that makes that impossible. At least, for this season anyway. A very unbalanced article in my view, but I’m always going to think that with my blue tinted specs on.
  20. That is a reasonable assessment of the situation, I was more getting at the other suggestion that this was somehow Rangers just being petty not allowing Celtic fans in while ignoring the context of the situation.
  21. Something to do with their “red zone”? I’ve heard that they need to move season ticket holders into the section that away fans usually sit. This would seem reasonable if they still weren’t refusing to offer PPV to away fans. Their whole refusal to offer PPV last season was to protect the value of their season tickets. But now that their season ticket holders are allowed in, that reason carries no weight at all.
  22. Celtic: We want 700 fans inside Ibrox Rangers: No problem, the tickets are already in the post. When should we expect the tickets for the Parkhead fixture? Celtic: Well… actually we can’t give you any guarantees on that. Rangers: Okay, we’ll withdraw entry to Celtic fans at Ibrox until we can get assurances our fans can attend the next fixture. Celtic: OMG you’re so petty and vindictive
