  1. An inferior coaching team is certainly higher up the list in my opinion than McGregor is, to be fair. No disagreements here.
  2. It’s not defensive, it’s just challenging the claim you made that McGregor is the main reason that we’ve won most old firm games recently. I respectfully disagree with it. We’ve arguably had the better of Celtic in old firm matches going back to 2019. I don’t think McGregor is the main reason, Gerrard/our coaching team is. Edit - I knew I’d heard similar before: https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/19457574.john-collins-claims-celtic-beaten-rangers-title-last-season-switched-keepers/
  3. The new year game Celtic had a grand total of 3 shots on target the full game, none after the 25th minute. Admittedly he made an outstanding save but to attribute this and the March match as the main reason that we’ve been beating Celtic recently is disingenuous. He faced 0 shots on goal in the 2-0 victory and aside from the matches mentioned above, we then went on to beat Celtic 4-1 and 2-0. Our accumulated score against Celtic last season was 10-2. But aye, McGregor was the main difference…
  4. no way am I having that. The reason we have won most games against you recently is because we’ve been the better team. He made an outstanding save against Griffiths in the new year game last season, but you’re trying to tell me he was the main difference between the two teams recently? Away and don’t talk rubbish.
  5. I love this overconfidence. It reared its head to royally bite Celtic on the arse last season in calamitous fashion. Let’s hope it happens again.
  6. I’ve heard that it is McGregor, McLaughlin, Tavernier and Wright. This may well be complete shite but it’s the names doing the rounds on WhatsApp.
  7. I wouldn’t bank on McGregor. From what I’m hearing he is one of the close contacts
  8. I suppose that explains his absence from our squad on Sunday. Must have a niggle.
  9. Or just don’t click on a thread you’re clearly not interested in
  10. You’re quite correct, my gripe is more to do with the fact that the media are now putting him in a lose-lose situation. By asking the question and saying “Scott Brown done it” already will have some people dismissing it as a token gesture if he does something. And also by asking the question, they’ve put a target on his back if he doesn’t make a gesture.
  11. Holy f**k. You can tell how frustrated Gordon Duncan was there. Sounded like he had his hands over his face at one point.
  12. Further to this, we have the BBC going with this question. They know exactly what they are doing and it does absolutely nothing to help the matter, it just stokes the flames even more. Arseholes.
  13. I gave you my reasons as to why I had doubts Parks was involved. Whether you agree or not, you’re coming across as very patronising here. Have a good night.
  14. I had my doubts given there were no indicators that Parks have a sponsorship deal with Rangers. I thought it was going to be with Tomket Tires in all honesty given they were one of our most recent sponsors and operate in the automotive industry. I bow down to your superior deductive reasoning skills, however.
  15. I think Tavernier will find himself in a difficult situation now. If he does make a gesture then it’ll just be written off as a token gesture because Brown done it. If he doesn’t make a gesture, then he will be criticised for not doing anything. Those in the media have already started to speculate and make it a thing when it really doesn’t need to be.
  16. Ach, we all know spelling isn’t the forte of Celtic fans considering they unfurled a banner missing the “i” out of their own teams name
  17. Sounds like that is the case now, which is disappointing to be honest. I’d hoped that this would be sorted sooner rather than later but it seems the arbitration will still go ahead, just with Parks included as an interested party. Seems the SPFL weren’t keen for that to happen.
  18. Seems Rangers have taken the action you’ve suggested. The individuals have been banned from Ibrox and the Supporters Club have been banned from receiving future tickets.
  19. This is then verging on strict liability though, and risks punishing those who have done no wrong whatsoever. For example, if a member of said supporters club never even attended the match, you think it is fair and reasonable that they would be punished for actions committed by someone else while not even in their presence?
  20. While it would certainly make a statement, I don’t think is entirely practical. For any of those participating in the sickening behaviour, there could be any number of others who weren’t. Additionally, anyone that’s been on these away trips knows that supporters clubs often share busses and have non-members travelling so I don’t think it would be fair or reasonable to punish all. I wholeheartedly agree those involved should be punished, and Rangers have confirmed they are already working to identify them, I just don’t think a blanket approach is the answer.
