  1. As has been said by many others, we are about 2 players away from being a good team. Boyle, Cabraja, Marshall and Youan were signed in the summer and it could be argued that they are our 4 best players, players who were utterly shite last year (Bushiri, Campbell) are looking like they may have something, supplemented with the few brighter lights from last season (Cadden, Porteous). I’m really looking forward to this one, we actually have a good record in the good town of Paisley, St Mirren haven’t beat us there in a top flight match since 2014 with us winning 6 of our last 7 games there so I would say I’m fairly confident that will continue. This will actually be my first away trip in the league since March (Tynecastle doesn’t count as an away trip), I didn’t bother going to away games in the bottom six and we’ve not really had any decent trips with decent kick off times recently at all, do enjoy a trip to Paisley and The Bankhouse so this one should be a good day out regardless of result. I’ve spent ages trying to pick a team and I can only manage 10 players without picking someone that’s shite and I don’t want to move Henderson to playing out wide but we really don’t have anyone to play left wing unless we play Youan there but that then means we need to play Doidge which I don’t want to do. St Mirren 1-2 Hibernian Shaughnessy for St Mirren because he always fucking scores against us, Elie Youan and Martin Boyle to score for Hibs.
  2. On the actual football and not the constant overanalysing and greeting about decisions…… Josh Campbell was absolutely superb, other than the goal, it’s by far his best performance for us, he seems to have improved since Johnson’s come in, not sure if it’s confidence or the style of play suiting him better but he may not be playing for Bonnyrigg Rose in 5 years after all. If he can cut out the shite passing and negativity (like he has this season so far) I would rather have him in the team than Newell, attitude is far better and does far more work. Having said that, Newell wasn’t bad on Saturday however I don’t know who he bribed to give him the sponsors man of the match award. And another shout for Marijan Cabraja, guy is the same age as me and to lose his dad and play like he did is incredible, be lucky if I could tie my shoes if that happened to me, what a footballer he appears to be aswell.
  3. If Alan Nixon told me water was wet I would check. He just constantly plucks players from lower league football and links us with them and invariably they never sign. However a broken clock etc etc but I would take this with a pinch of salt.
  4. Valid points but it was clearly nothing to do with the ASOS Ancelotti. Have a good evening troops
  5. The more time that passes the more I realise the only reason we finished 3rd was because of Mr M. Boyle.
  6. Jack Ross eh? Should have kept him. Its lovely to be vindicated. Looking at you @Hoose Rice

  8. Tait also went off injured playing for the B Team against Brechin last Tuesday so he probably wouldn’t have even be fit on Saturday. Suspect he’ll go out on loan. Not to mention the fact Newell was meant to be isolating when he went out drink driving , the press seemed to fail to pick up on that one thankfully. Tait probably doesn’t vote Tory either.
  9. Gorgie is a high street full of empty shops. Leith is a kingdom
  10. I’ve pretty much said I’ve been dreading every game since the season started and this will be no different. However after this one things are alot better, decent away days and winnable home games, so I’ll hopefully stop being a negative b*****d soon. Just do something to rile them up at one point, ideally score and make them angry. Cheers.
  11. No idea if this is just WhatsApp nonsense but I’ve had a message saying apparently the game could be off due to to the bylines being too thick.
  12. Good to see the Livingston fans have moved on from being riled by Martin Boyle to being riled by Ryan Porteous. Wonder who’ll be the next figure to receive West Lothian based P&B headsgone. My money is going to go towards Marijan Cabraja.
  13. Anyone that wants a laugh go and have a look at Scott Allan’s twitter likes. Probably explains why he’s not found a new club yet, rejecting calls from agents because he’s too busy wanking himself into oblivion.
  14. Aye 3 goals in 11 games wasn’t exactly struggling tbf, scored one in their equivalent of the Champions League. If you translate a few of the Arabic comments on Al-Faisaly’s tweet it sounds like they’re not happy about letting him go either. Think it’s just due to the relegation and him being a big earner. He manages fine in the heat when playing for Australia tbf.
  15. First of all the signed for Wolves turned out to not be true albeit it was reported in the media he had gone but he indeed has not and is still with Hibs. Still only 17 years old and made his debut for Airdrie on Saturday after making a 7 day emergency loan switch and seemed to have done okay but all accounts, kept a clean sheet too. Definitely one to watch.
  16. How did Murray Johnson get on? Quite highly thought of at us, been training with the first team since he was about 15 and had a few clubs down south try and take him of us.
  17. How long did your walk take though? Thats the real question on everyone’s lips.
  18. To be fair, both were pretty rubbish. I remember (very cold) trips to Rugby Park and New Douglas Park where both of them were rotten. Sure the Rugby Park one was where Neil Lennon went full divorced Da having a meltdown by playing Ambrose and Stevenson as a midfield two and we lost 3-0.
  19. The first two Hibs tops were rotten so thankfully that’s salvaged a little bit of success. Not as good as our white away top last season but it’s a decent one. Mental how much nicer a kit looks when you keep it simple instead of trying to draw things on them.
  20. Surely Ian Cathro. Sacked after the League Cup Group stages.
  21. I know it’s not what you asked but he was utterly horrendous in his short spell at Hibs. And in typical fashion he then went to St Johnstone and performed a lot better. Probably reckon he’s a low premiership/high championship player rather than a top 6 player though.
  22. EEN saying that Cabraja is unlikely to be ready to start for Saturday so assuming it’ll be Stevenson and as much as I don’t want Joe Newell to play I’ve resigned myself to the fact that he will. With those two concessions the above is how I would set up on Saturday, would like another winger to come in so we’re able to move Youan into the number 9 role, McGeady looks completely finished and from what I’ve seen of Tavares I’m not convinced although I’m not writing him off I would like another option.
