  1. Cadden yup but Newell, absolutely not. Honestly think out of the current lot he’d be one of the first I’d be getting to another destination. Cadden, Porteous and Henderson the only 3 from last season I would be bothered if they left.
  2. Sorry state of affairs tonight. I don’t really see where we go from here, the club has been utterly mismanaged since the moment Ron Gordon bought the club and just about every decision he’s made has been the wrong one. The new signings (other than Marshall) look even worse than what we had before and the likes of Joe fucking Newell continue to let us down, that’s 2 cups that his individual mistakes have put us out of in 3 months, must be some kind of record. Aiden McGeady looks rubbish, Nohan Kenneh regularly gives the ball away and puts us under pressure, Tavares is Jasper 2.0, Miller looks absolutely lost. We’re only going in one direction while the club is being run by these incompetent morons.
  3. Yesterdays evening session promised a lot but didn’t deliver a great deal unfortunately I felt. Don’t expect any fireworks tonight either, Jose De Sousa and Gabriel Clemens could still be playing tomorrow.
  4. Thought something interesting might have happened when I saw two unread pages but it appears The Hibernian Thread is the best place to discuss whether Stephen Kingsley will be in the next Scotland squad.
  5. Probably not the best as I’m due to head back to Edinburgh once I get into Glasgow. Bit of a shiter, looking like Stair Park will need to wait until Scotrail sort their shit out.
  6. He nearly cost us a goal twice, once by not clearing the ball and once by not tracking his man. He also lost his marker for the goal.
  7. It’s a huge surprise to see Aberdeen fans that claimed Ryan Porteous doesn’t live in their head are along to comment on said party that they are “not bothered by.” Football’s back baby.
  8. Falkirk by far the better team. No complaints from me other than our truly spineless players. Joe Newell, Rocky Bushiri, Jake Doyle-Hayes, Josh Campbell, honking honking footballers. Early signs but alarm bells are ringing on Kyle McClelland and Lewis Miller too.
  9. Who do we want as our next manager in October time then lads?
  10. I was looking at coming along to Stair Park on Saturday to tick off the ground but it looks like the trains after the game back to glasgow have been cancelled and the 923 bus is fully booked. Assuming there’s no other way to get here via public transport? Bit rubbish as I was looking forward to it.
  11. Its definitely not a dig at Falkirk, we’ve used similar graphics for the Bonnyrigg and Clyde games. Whether that’s weird or not is up to your preference but it’s not a go at the fellas from Grangemouth. Falkirks squad absolutely teeming with ex-Hearts and Hibs players 6/11 starters in their game on Saturday in that category, I wonder which one of them it’ll be to score against us. Falkirk 1-3 Hibernian Morrison Doidge, McGeady, Melkersen
  12. Unless someone can correct me I think he’s the only one. Because I’m a massive goon, every time I go abroad I check if there’s anyone from the country that played for Hibs and I couldn’t see anyone when I was passing time in the airport before going there the other week. We had Ivan Lendric on trial when Lennon was in charge but that’s all I could find.
  13. A lot fitter than me to be fair Who knows? Came on a few times, scored against Santa Ponza Sailing Club in Europe but missed a sitter against Rijeka that probably would have taken us through then got injured.
  14. Went to watch our development team play Preston Athletic tonight (7-0 win) and although the opposition was poor (we could have played without a goalie) a few of the players looked decent prospect. Connor Young looks like a brilliant player, grabbed 4 of the goals, big strong laddie for a 17 year old and has a brilliant touch and finish on him. Jacob MacIntyre has a fantastic engine and is pretty technical too, could be a great option in midfield. Joao Balde looks like a really classy player, bit older than the rest of them having just turned 21 but has a fantastic touch and burst of pace, always looked like he was a step ahead of his man with the way he took the ball in and used his body. Jacob Blaney also looks like a decent modern centre half, wasn’t tested defensively but some of his passing long and short was brilliant for a centre half. Hope to see some of these guys break into the first team soon. However I’m delighted we’re not entering the lowland league, I know Preston are further down the pyramid but it’s safe to say the players would have got nothing but fitness out of tonight because they were streets ahead of the opposition, probably the equivalent of me playing a game of football against my cat.
  15. Well in sir, My best is 111, although in a Jose De Sousa-esq way, aimed at treble 20 and hit double 20, left 71, treble 19 and double 7, also managed 110 in 2 darts once. Saying that I average about 40 most of the time so both were absolute flukes. The World Championships this year is wide open, feels like it could be anyones, none of the big dogs playing well at all, the match play should be interesting in a few weeks.
  16. Our kits last season were superb (especially the away) and the team was shite. This season they are shite (especially the away) so this year the team will be superb. This is a matter of fact by the way.
  17. I agree with the majority of your sentiments but do you not realise that this shit is going to be around for the whole thing regardless of one persons post on a football messageboard. The “I’m not going to vote yes because I hate the SNP” is something that’s going to be around no matter what happens.
  18. f**k (and I cannot stress this enough) the SNP, shocking party that have shown themselves up as incompetent and left a lot of their morals and values in question. However if this goes ahead I have absolutely no doubt that it’ll be a Yes vote from me, have absolutely no love for the UK, England or anything like that, the SNP won’t be around forever, I do sincerely hope this goes ahead and that we don’t f**k it up this time.
  19. Hibs are somewhere between 10.5 and 11k I think. Not amazing but given how shit we’ve been it should be commended tbh.
  20. Usually being on open goal and having no charisma go hand in hand tbh
  21. Glad we are finally free of the human wardrobe in goals but letting McGinn go seems pretty fucking stupid. Solid player, not many stand out bad performances if not too many good but always solid, as a club “in transition” solid players like that are generally good to keep around. I know I’m constantly a negative b*****d around our regime but for the 5418th time I’m telling you all that I’m seriously concerned.
  22. Annoyed we let him go, not exactly a stand out but a solid player and good to have around the club. Seriously worried about how our squad is looking but that’s for another thread!
  23. Yeah was aware of that but could have had 10 better ones! It’s brutal mate, train station is nowhere near, no decent pubs anywhere near, shite view and atmosphere and usually low quality of football. Agree that Livi is shite but harsh on Kilmarnock, easy to get there and plenty to do beforehand, a superb place to watch football if we’ve brought a decent crowd.
  24. InMusic Festival, Zagreb for me this week, first time going to a big festival abroad, superb line up too; Killers, Fontaines DC, Idles, Kasabian. To say there’s excitement in me is an understatement.
