  1. According to the East Fife thread, Wreh played for them last night in a 15-0 win V Burntisland. Two games in two days is tough and he may have had an off night but I think it’s telling that he didn’t score. If you’re a striker and can’t score in a 15-0 win then not sure if he’s the answer.
  2. Not sure of their surnames but the number 33 was called Keiran, the number 31 I think it was, is apparently called Elias. Disappointing - I was hoping for a Lionel and a Romelu.
  3. Don't think anyone is panicking and I for one am sure Dick will come good. No harm in discussing it though.
  4. Yeah I know it's obvious and we're all saying it, doesn't mean it isn't a priority though. As I said in my previous post - goalscorers are like hens teeth all over Scotland so maybe we need to think differently. I've always though McKenna has the pace and physicality to be given a chance up front, Stewart also. Both score a few from midfield too so know how to put the ba in the net when the opportunity arises.
  5. Agree, Donnelly and Hilson aren't going to score many. I think we need two goalscorers as relying on one isn't a good plan. Obviously this isn't easy as goalscorers are like hens teeth at all levels in Scotland. Would also like to see a Williamson type player in midfield too.
  6. Hopefully we'll have some trialists on show today - particularly up front.
  7. Understandable. My take on the, what feels like, constant push back on relaxation is that they are determined to make sure as many are fully vaccinated first so as to reduce the likelihood of having to lock down again. Aside from having to have booster injections and possible minor restriction e.g. masks or distancing in certain settings, I think we’ll be fine.
  8. What major change do you see happening in the next few weeks/months that would cause this? A vaccine resistant variant which causes a big increase in hospitalisations/deaths is the only plausible thing I can see. None of the data seems to point at that being a realistic danger.
  9. Perhaps I should have said - every adult in Scotland will have been offered the vaccine and the vast majority will have been fully vaccinated. They’re not compulsory here but we do have a very high voluntary uptake of 90%+. Yes there are a small number of weirdos who won’t get it but not enough to destroy it for the majority.
  10. I agree. Every adult in Scotland will have been fully vaccinated well before then and possibly a fair chunk of 12-16 year olds too. We're also likely to be underway with winter booster injections by then also. I personally think the SG have done a pretty good job so far but if that's not enough to be able to fully open society back up then we might as well just shut everything down for good. Unless of course there's a new variant on the go by then that's causing a huge increase in serious illness and death.
  11. I love how we’re always written off pre season. Keep it up everyone.
  12. Creates a difficult scenario for Arbroath as we have a capacity of 6600 but fewer than 900 seats. So going on what you’re saying, we could only use the seats or the terracing but not a combination? This would lead to a tiny capacity (150-200) if using the seats only due to social distancing or up to 1000 for terracing only but with no where to sit for the elderly etc.
  13. I’m sure he’s not but it’ll still be more than a part-time wage as I doubt he has any kind of career outside football.
  14. Understand that but surely getting offered a full-time deal at this stage in his career is a no-brainer.
  15. Full-time player picks full-time club over part-time club shocker!!
  16. Might be my imagination but we've not had decent festive fixtures for a few years. Aside from that the fixtures look decent, could be another nail biter v Morton on hte last day. My hope for the season: 8th place at worst, promotion playoffs at best - somewhere in between will do just fine. As per the last two seasons, we desperately need goalscorer/s signed. Get a Wighton/Hamilton type player and I'm confident we'll be fine as the core of the team is good enough.
  17. Remind me who was in goals for Mo when Crawford pinged one in from 90+ yards at Links Park
  18. Not heard anything but mostly negative comments about him in the past. Will still get my full support though.... unless he does something to change that. Rab can hang those gloves up for good now
  19. If that was partly aimed at me then you’re very wrong. I was only pointing out that such a large increase would perhaps put off some from buying a season ticket. I did however admit to being mistaken about the price of the 2019-20 ticket. Personally, I think it’s great value and will be buying one as soon as they’re on sale. I don’t think there has been a single negative comment directed at the club, on or off the field, for a very long time. Nothing but positivity around Arbroath FC at the moment.
  20. I thought it was £180 for season 19-20 so I feel even more of a tit for looking like I was criticising the increase
  21. Wish I'd never bloody mentioned it . Still think it's very good value.
  22. I know that, I was talking about season 2019-2020.
