  1. The three law experts I've heard talking about it including @Ad Lib on here believe it's the likely outcome. If you have reasons to doubt them then let's be hearing it.
  2. If the court returns Ultra Vires ( which it will ) Nicola Sturgeon would have preferred it didn't take place. No point arriving at the negotiation table if you know you've nothing in your basket.
  3. Only reason is you're certain it'll return ultra vires, and you're certain Nicola Sturgeon will up the ante in the aftermath of May's election.
  4. I think most folk would think Miller was better than Dykes, McBurnie and Shankland. I suppose there's maybe an argument about Miller V Griffiths. Miller scored 238 goals during his career, could play in a 1 or 2, and scored big goals throughout his career for club and country. There's absolutely no chance McBurnie or Dykes will have the career Miller had.
  5. Biggest problem I have with Aberdeen is they're awful to watch. I wouldn't invest in a season ticket to watch them.
  6. There's places up for grabs for sure. Our current crop of forwards aren't a patch on Kenny Miller. Kenny Miller wasn't close to the level of Mo Johnston and Ally McCoist. Johnston and McCoist weren't close to the ability of Law and Dalglish. We're overdue a decent one.
  7. Fair enough and what about the Conservative party? They've some good ideas.
  8. Justin Thomas dropped by Ralph Lauren. It's be interesting to see which Fantasy golf participants drop him at the first window and which forum members are just big homophobes.
  9. FTFY. Of course this wouldn't be a problem if people didn't hang on his every word as gospel.
  10. https://www.scotlandinunion.co.uk/post/i-voted-yes-but-soon-felt-relieved-we-stayed-in-the-uk?fbclid=IwAR2tia14c5OrX4bgjk7B2hx5OKEeTAnNAozJmDfis_NNEeTJeGZHT2wBBEk I love these wee stories.
  11. You're selecting McBurnie because idiotic managers have signed him. Sheff Utd would have an increased points tally if Shankland was in their ranks. Almost certainly this post will trigger someone saying "If Shankland was better than McBurnie he wouldn't still be at Dundee Utd" It's classic P and Bovril and forum with loads of smart folk and many fools.
  12. Played off 4 iirc was manager at Dundee Utd at that time. Yeah I heard he's good. Jimmy Bullard is the best thought out of the ex-othersportsmen.
  13. Also I played and beat Craig Brewster at a county event at Downfield in 2001. At the time Craig Brewster didn't have Covid19 and I believe he still doesn't.
  14. Best I can do on the golf stakes is I beat Alan McManus ( Snooker player ) at a match play event at KING JAMES V1. He's really decent but grips the club left hand below right. Think I won about 4/3. He plays out of Milngavie golf course. A few days earlier he played the worlds at Sheffield and talked about an amazing fluke against Nigel Bond. He's a Celtic fan.
  15. Two courses at Murrayshall coupled with Dunblane gave me three courses to play. Enjoy the same at Gleneagles and it's not actually anywhere near as expensive as you'd think. My S.O is about £240. Gives you a world class driving range, pitching area, unlimited balls and 2 excellent courses and 1 decent one. I still play but I'm worse than I was in my youth. Current Handicap is actually the lowest it's ever been at +2.4 but that's only due to this daft world handicap rule. I didn't break par at all in 2020 in competition but the CSS regularly climbs 4 or 5 over par, especially if we play off the back tee's on the PGA course.
  16. Its the sort of thing Scotland in Union regularly churn out. Allows them to tell readers 'Yes has fallen to only 46% ( DOWN 11 points!!!!!11!!) in new poll'
  17. I believe this btw. If you grow up anywhere in Angus/Dundee/Fife/East Lothian working for a Caddymaster makes perfect sense. I was playing off scratch at the age of 15 and if I was looking for a wee job it would be to carry clubs. Far better pay than working a paper round.
  18. Go on then 'Minter boy' how's it wrong. Unsurprising to see Glen getting bent-out-of-shape at any Scottish v rUK success story.
  19. Boris boosting about vaccinating less than 40% of care home residents while Scotland has vaccinated 80-90% of residents. He was insistent Pfizer couldn't be used in care homes for logistical reasons and the SG just got on with the job.
  20. Having a PHD in statistics doesn't mean you're sharp. I doubt he'd score double figures on countdown.
