I'm sure Holt said that they were going to introduce a Development Squad initially before starting an Academy on a scaled down basis later on. That would allow us join a reserve league, giving those not involved on a Saturday, or who don't get off the bench, some game time along with any external players that they want to run their eye over.

No need to apologise mate. There does seem to be this myth going around however that suggests that some folk are happy with MandM and what they're giving us. I for one am not however, a change now, while we're top and favourites to maintain that , would be very dangerous IMO. As things stand it doesn't look like they're the guys who would be able to take us up again and I think unfortunately that further change may be necessary to achieve this. Time will tell however I think that the current incumbents deserve our support as we enter a crucial period.

What tears and snotters?

Dowds did extremely well to basically cut Montrose apart when laying on Morrison's goal. I would definitely start him with Keena V Arbroath. Think it's a good opportunity to play Neilson as well and possibly bring McClleland on at some point too. Fotheringham should also be a definite starter IMO.

You forget that Montrose players will have been keeping themselves fit at their daytime jobs while our lot will have been sitting in the house and gorging on their Christmas Quality Street!

Doesn't look like Kelly, Mercer or Connolly will be fit. Not a chance I would play Mercer anyway though, Neilson should go straight in as should Fotheringham. Not entirely sure why we signed McClelland though, seems a strange time to try to blood a young CB when defending wasn't our main problem. I would probably keep Hall and Dixon together and I would play Deveney if Kelly doesn't make it.

Geordie played often at centre back and in midfield. He played left back on occasion too. He was brilliant wherever he played, never seeming to break sweat.

Well, not really. Genuine question: when was the last time that a game had to be played after the expected season end? (Probably last season ). I have no idea but most postponements are down to weather which wouldn't normally be an issue at that time of year. This season is obviously a bit different as we could, and possibly will, have loads of games postponed toward the end of the season.

I hate watching us on TV. I'm much more nervous than I am when I'm actually there for some reason. Doesn't stop me from tuning in right enough but it's certainly not my favourite form of recreation.

Apparently the players went to the gates to celebrate with the fans. If that was indeed the case then Sevco should get slaughtered for it.

Unless we're also going to be bringing in a couple or three attacking midfielder/winger/strikery type players then I think Forster's a waste of a loan. While Hall & Durnan obviously have their limitations, we still have the best defence (statistically) next to Partick. I don't think we're going to suddenly start leaking goals so I'd rather we sorted things out at the top end of the park first.
