  1. Shite performance. If Clement didn't know the size of the job he has then he certainly does now. Highlight of the game for me was listening in the car when the commentator groaned "awww he's going to give it" when the second penalty was being awarded. The tone of the programme shifted quickly from quite jovial, to more funereal after the second went in.
  2. I want Dessers to be a success, but the longer it goes in it just looks like one of these transfers that's not going to work. Obviously I want to be proved wrong, but I would expect Danilo to be displacing him in the team once he's fit enough. We just look more of a threat when he's on the park. Lammers is a strange one, because I don't actually think he's been anywhere near as bad as has been made out. I think maybe folk were expecting him to score more, but I don't think he's that type of player or is being asked to perform that role in the team.
  3. Another Michael Beale masterstroke. Davies, Devine or Yfeko would be the obvious choices. None of them fill me full of confidence. I would imagine that Davies will be the choice with us moving from a 4 to a 3 at the back when we are attacking/defending.
  4. Genuinely never heard of this before, but it appears you've been had, this is clearly mince.
  5. Watched the first episode, thought it was pretty good and the voices (for Rick anyway, Morty wasn't in it much) seemed pretty much bang on.
  6. I watched the first episode last night, apart from one or two moments it was pretty shit, but i'll stick with it since folk are saying it starts to improve slightly.
  7. On the subject of how to pronounce brand names, over the last year or so Skoda have been putting heavy emphasis on it being pronounced "Sh-koda" in their adverts, which they must know they are on a hiding to nothing as nobody is going to start saying it like that.
  8. A slight improvement over the dross we've seen so far this season. Hibs weren't up to much today tbf.
  9. We don't look much different, but there is small changes here and there and we look like a team that wants to win, rather than one that doesn't want to lose.
  10. I love Wolf of Wall Street and I think it stands up well against his "classics". The Irishman left me cold. I didn't dislike it, but it just didn't do very much for me. I thought Shutter Island was very meh and, as I've said, I actively disliked The Departed. I am extremely excited about his new one, though.
  11. It appears Total Film have realised what a rip roaring c**t they have made of themselves and deleted the tweet.
  12. Saw this today, and I can only assume that it has been drawn up by someone that has only seen those specific 10 Scorsese films and had suffered some kind of head injury before going in to see The Departed. No Mean Streets, no King of Comedy, no fucking Casino??? But The Irishman, Shutter Island and Cape Fear all get on there along with The Departed? Nonsense. edit: They appear to have deleted the tweet, so here it is:
  13. My boiler got serviced yesterday (*insert Kenneth.gif*) and with it being an oil fired one, the fuel hoses were due to be replaced. The process of doing this seems to involve a bit of the oil that's in the hoses getting out and my house now absolutely fucking stinks of kerosene.
  14. The kids go to swimming lessons on a Saturday afternoon and the lassie that runs it sends fucking rambling, 10 min voice messages on whatsapp that could easily be sent as text messages instead.
  15. I don't think ive had a paper payslip for about 15 years
  16. Looking like it's going to be Clement or Muscat, unless someone else comes out of left field (I've seen Glasner's name mentioned, but have no idea if there is anything substantial there) Clement looks to have the better record of the two, but from the looks of it has always had a DoF to work with, so it will be interesting to see what we are doing in that regards. I hated Muscat as a player, so my opinion of him as a manager may be tainted by that. He looks to have a decent record in Australia and Japan, but have no idea how that would translate over here. The big issue for anyone coming in is that they need to work with the group of players that are currently there, and for the most part, have failed miserably under the last two managers. Can anyone coming in manage to get a tune out if this squad? And there are quite a few of them that must know their time is up at Rangers as well.
