Could we not have a separate shit on Ward thread for this, posting the same stuff over and over under different names doesn't make it any more relevant. We already had this posted a few days back and the subject covered, nothing further can be added till the court cases are heard.

Because it’s an ongoing case with very few details available to the public.

If you look the guy up who wrote it he seems to focus on legal cases here and there. Until it goes to trial and a verdict is reached, you’ll probably only hear about it from him.

Also, the article would be two sentences long if not for the padding.

Yet in your post this morning you wanted something from the club? Or from Ward?

was only asking because '''i don't understand why he still holds position if there is a pending criminal case? It is relevant to the club. Criminality accepted at livi but wouldn't be in any other corporation

Yeah but there’s been nothing from him about it. Seeing as he’s the club chairman there ought to be something done about it.

Any other line of work he’d be taking a step back till it’s all concluded.

I don't remember Stephen Robinson taking a step back when there was criminal charges against him at Motherwell

The club facilitated Declan Gallagher’s career break a few years back so, if that was acceptable from an employee, I’m not sure why it would be a problem all of a sudden for a volunteer to pick up a conviction - if, indeed, he does - whilst involved with the club.

Declan Gallagher answered to his crime by doing time. Restoration possible. John Ward in court for abusive behaviour towards a woman? Are those the folk we want heading up our club?

At this point, isn't it only "alleged"?

Harasser in the chair, chief executive dipping into the women’s team, and Jurgen Prop on the touchline. Welcome to livi FC.

So, new poster, you know he’s going to be found guilty and not awarded a custodial sentence. Any other nuggets for us?

Fans used to carry round a flag celebrating DM as Escobar, how times change!

don't think you get custodial sentence for threatening or shouting and swearing at a woman? Who is this woman? What is the connection? Regardless, shows abusive tendancies no? Trustworthy people should be in charge of the clubs best interests, not showmen who are subfertuge abusers

Wasn't Marvin Bartley convicted of doing that too, when at Hibs. The ex Celtic/Hibs player that signed for us (his name escapes me for now, an age thing) then didn't want to play on our plastic pitch, stalked and threatened his ex too. Course Ward has yet to be convicted of anything, and may be found innocent.

Gallagher's case was also pending when we signed him, and we re signed him after he was found guilty and served some of his time.

Ward so vocal on x about everything but himself, something out of the ordinary here. Last I knew he was married, not his wifes name being used in media coverage

Fans are notoriously fickle, and their opinions change with the weather. When Martindale was doing a tremendous job for us nobody had any concerns about him doing so much around the place, and having so much influence and control, now we've had a terrible season and are being relegated it's a red flag, and seen as a huge problem.

You do realise that IF he is found innocent, you need to watch what you say or it could be slanderous.

He was as was Neil Hogarth and another former director whose name escapes me.They are all members of the Trust.

Ged Nixon is a Trust member? Odd one.

His time on the board wasn't a success. He went through multiple managers. His sackings of Gary Bollan and Gareth Evans were particularly frustrating as both were achieving on-field results. He got us a points deduction due to paying players undeclared bonus. Then after leaving he infamously pursued a civil action against the club.

what have I said other than what he is accused of? It is in the media now.

BIB is presuming he's guilty, when you're questioning whether he should be in charge.
