Ted Baker.  And they do look really nice in the flesh.  There was a similar pair in Next but the quality was shit.

I know what you mean - a pic doesn’t convey the quality of a shoe. A nice shop lady once sold me a pair of Patrick Cox loafers for £30. I told her I just needed a cheap pair of shoes for a night out but they all looked pish compared to the Cox. Told me it was her last day as she was being sacked so would ring them through at £100+ less than the sticker price.

Hypothetically, if I have a £100 voucher for a shop and have seen a pair of shoes at £140.  Would I be paying £140 for them or £40?

Asking for a friend.

The friend is me.

Price looks good. Hope you have pointy feet.

Update.  I've discovered I actually have £120 in vouchers.  So they may only cost me £20

Got a situation with a neighbour and unsure how to solve it.
I have a hedge which is bloody massive on my side of the garden. I don't particularly want it. However I am led to believe a deal was made before I bought the house that they would keep the hedge and my house in return got a wider driveway at the side of the house.
Now I have two issues.
The first issue is the wall that is infront of the hedge was made from big breeze blocks are they are pretty cracked. My worry is the wall will collapse. How do I fix this ?
Secondly they have cut their side of the hedge but not mine even though I'm keeping this hedge to really not cause any problems. Should I go to my neighbour to tell him to trim it n look after it all ?

A diagram of some sorts would help.

What if the hedge mysteriously went on fire. Say tonight.

This has been thought about.

Shirley agreements made between previous owners before you moved in are f**k all to do with you unless it's stated in the deeds?

Yes, I know, a Rangers fan said "deeds".

A call to your solicitor/estate agent that conducted the sale should clear up the matter of any specific clause.
