Scary Bear
english league 2 side from lancashire. There used to be an advert (for milk?) about Accrington Stanley.

Something I'd love to see up here, incidentally, with the Challenge Cup. A complete joke of a tournament.

AllanJM
I think the English version is even worse. It's U23 teams but they're allowed overage players too. Tony Andreu (ex Hamilton) played for Norwich U23 despite being 28.
Jan Vojáček
english league 2 side from lancashire. Whooooooshhhh To be fair, looks like English fans are boycotting the tournament in protest at u23 teams being allowed in. Something I'd love to see up here, incidentally, with the Challenge Cup. A complete joke of a tournament. It is great to see. Managers have named themselves as subs, double figure away crowds and almost completely empty stadiums. Here's hoping that our fans do similar on Saturday. I won't be at Stranraer and seen as we aren't running a bus I suspect very few other fans will be.It's also £15/£10 for entry, which is a hilarious joke.
mojito
Anyone that listens to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast might have heard the normally chirpy Iain MacIntosh go on quite a rant about what has happened to the JP Trophy.Probably one of the best executed boycotts I've seen at a recent football game.
HIT THE CHANNEL
Having a quick glance in the domestic cup forum I see that many people are boycotting/back boycotting the Irn Bru Cup games on the grounds that the u20's teams are a vanguard that will be used to put Old Filth 'B' teams in the lower leagues, effectively making non-Premiership football an abomination and joke. This (legitimate IMO) fear of the slippery slope seems to be why the English sides have boycotted last night. Is there any kind of organised country-wide boycott? I actually think the addition of welsh and NI sides is not at all bad and would not boycott the competition on these grounds. However, I do think the inclusion of the u20's sides is disrespectful and dangerous and back the boycott on those grounds. What is the feelings among Rovers fans? Will anyone be at Station Park!?

Michael W
The English adaptions to what was the Johnstone's Paint trophy are apparently a one year trial. A brilliantly executed two fingers to it from the fans yesterday, I'd say.

Raith Against The Machine
The squad is already fucking massive, I can't see us bringing anyone else in. Probably a couple of loan moves for the likes of Osei and Coustrain, or maybe the apprentices.
Raith25
We're one injured centre half away from disaster so if it's anyone it'll be that
