Happy enough with that, good experience at this level. Can’t say I remember a massive amount about him, but good to get it sorted early. Yeah, I recall the name don't remember much about him though he must have been in the Dumbarton side that gave Hughes' team a doing through at theirs. McGlynn must see something given the length of contract, and that probably closes the door on Tait returning. R.R.FC
Good to get a midfielder in nice and early. Performed very well at Dumbarton although I’m not sure how he was with Dundee United. Pretty sure he can play primarily as an 8 but also as a 10 so seems like a sensible replacement for Tait. He should fit in well with McGlynn’s preferred style of play too, good footballer. As an aside, at what point do you stop counting a contract in months? I’d say 18, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a two and a half year deal referred to as a 30 month contract so fair play to McGlynn for that!

Lang Toun Lad
I guess that closes the door on Musonda taking Taits place in midfield. I can't really remember much about Stanton but McGlynn must be happy if we've given him a contract that long!

He was playing for Dundalk in their European games this season, including a draw away to Vitesse Arnhem so hopefully he can hit the ground running.
Frankly, Mr Shankly
Hopefully he can handle the step up to the Premiership.
Broken Algorithms
Scored when we beat Hibs in the Scottish Cup at Easter Road. Seems to have done decent in America. Still trying to find out how he got on with Dundalk. Overall, he'll add depth to the squad and he's a player who has experience at the level.
pantene proV
Very happy getting an experienced Pro in midfield. We're definitely going for it this season.
The Tiel Burn
Remember him well from Dumbarton, the name always caught my attention. Keeping in mind SJM has an encyclopedic memory this looks great. Wonder if he has been on trial or training with us. Again, we'll done to the board etc for taking forward thinking action.

Given that the 30 months commences on the 1st of January this is correct.

Broken Algorithms
A look around on twitter and the Dundalk fans seem gutted he's away which is a good sign.
roverthemoon
He’s a McGlynn signing. He’s obviously going to be brilliant.

Liked how the highlights just show the linesman walking way not interested after Dougie Hill’s goal. Don’t think it would have got past VAR that one. And Grant Anderson’s winner

Just after Ross Callachan hits the post, the Hibs boy in the corner takes one in the spuds and goes down in stages.

Broken Algorithms
Weird game that one against Hibs. One of the Hibs fans chucked a lighter or coin at Callum Booth. Another one of their fans calls out that he was actually a Hibs player on loan and starts fighting with him. Still unreal that they didn't include a clause to make sure he couldn't appear in any potential fixtures.
embow
Any relation to Pat from past times at Easter Road? I think the Messiah has dug out an astute signing with this and by the reading of things it looks as if he's ready to put him in the team asap from 2nd January.
embow
Checked online and he's not related to Pat. Pity. I'd hoped there were family genes in him but hey ho! Still a very good signing for us at this level.
