When it suits them?

The guy has been a supporter for 40 years, there are some strong principles involved that make you willing to let go something that enduring in life.

You think. Some people don't. Some people it's all about the big iam. All about me. Same with big val. Why has nothing been said about Griffiths signing for falkirk?

Joke of a country with a joke load of citizens

Disgraceful attitude. A football club is an institution. Too many people since the mainstreaming of politics become drawn in on this shite. Pricipaled when it suits them. Same people that say send soldiers to Ukraine are the same folk who call Blair a war criminal

Feck off. Its the raith board that have the disgraceful attitude in the whole scenario.

I love it when thicko junior fans get lost on the internet and end up in these parts of P&B. You inevitably end up with posts like these.

Was already thinking to myself at sentence three that you’d lost the run of yourself, but sentence five is sensational. Fair play to you.

... If we talking a bout joke citizens, don't worry you may have competition but you're still well in front.

Yeh are you protesting about Griffiths are you? Nah don't think so. It's your attitude that's shite. Your clubs more than a chairman or people on the board.

Maybe he would have.... If Griffiths had signed for a club he supported, naw?

Geezo 😂

Thing is though, some can't seem to grasp that it's affected different folks in different ways. From my point of view this seems quite  extreme to, but without knowing Philpys circumstances who can (or even has the right) to say?

Most of the uproar about goodwillie came from people who did not support raith rovers so what's your point

That's just a blatent lie tbh. It was certainly magnified because of the media attention val brought to it though.

It would be quite nice if the same people who weren't bothered about the signing would also let everyone get on with things without bringing it up constantly though. Philpy is entitled to walk away the exact same as you're all entitled to not care about goodwillie raping someone as long he scored some goals etc.

Back to basics then everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as its the same as ours!

It's not the people who are not bothered that's keeping it going it's the people that are.

Never knew rqith had millions of fans the world over. When did sturgeon become a raith fan. So think you are the one lying.

I couldn't care less whether he scored goals or not. He wasn't convicted and hadn't been in trouble since. Had been playing for 5 years and yet noone is saying about Griffiths. Craig Thomson seems to be playing a few miles along the road at cowdenbeath without incident.

Philpy walking away is only hindering himself and the club he supposedly loved. At the end of the day boards of directors will come and go

Away you go. It's the raith board that is pathetic.

What for saving the club a few years back, for creating a revenue stream other than match days. Installation of a new pitch, new floodlights and other facilities in planning. Signing players like Ethan Ross, Reagan Hendry, sticking by Lewis Vaughan and paying for numerous operations and rehab. Naw sorry they have done a lot of good work and it needs us supporters to stick by them.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but if you're going to post on a forum you should expect people to disagree with it, instead of proclaiming that there's a clique etc like a 5 year old.

No like the truth I take it? The same wee group that are never wrong and think they speak for the majority of fans. Whether it's folk on fantalk or Facebook the pie and bovril squad are the only one's with a legitimate opinion.

It's the folk looking for attention and claiming to have principles that are needing to grow up.
