pub car king
We've had a tough with that result. They do now play Morton on Tuesday though who's run has come to a stop against ICT. Does give us a game in hand though
SirJimmyofNic
In light of the results today, we only went a point behind and only Partick gained a point on us
Ex Machina
Despite shitting the bed yesterday, we're only a point behind still. This league is utterly batshit and I love it. Doesn't get much more entertaining than the Scottish Championship.

FitbaSupporter
Not a bad result in the end. Keeps Thistle at a distance. United play Morton on Tuesday night before we play again so could be 4 adrift or just a point behind with a game in hand. Who knows.

Sweaty Morph
Results today could have been worse all things considered. Title still in out own hands although after last night I'm not confident at all. Clichéd to say but if we'd been offered our current league points/position with 10 games to go at the start of the season, there's not one of us who wouldn't have taken it.
Michael W
No point continuing to get wound up we've missed an opportunity - Dundee Utd have done the same today. That could've been much worse. Edited March 2 by Michael W

Broken Algorithms
Fwiw, I don't think tinkering was an issue. Watson going off combined with a failure of collective responsibility after an hour absolutely ruined us.

I can't have been the only one saying here we go again after bird scored, the players certainly looked like they where.
TxRover
Batshit doesn’t sum up this league. It’s like we and DU are taking turns “after you”. Partick and Morton seem to have stalled, and 5-9 are 2 point apart. There’s only poor Arbroath, 7 point back, playing DU next Saturday….could they?
RAITHROVERS84
Couldn’t and haven’t been able to bring myself to read anything about last nights result. As gutting a feeling walking out of Gayfield since funnily enough the 2-2 game against Abroath at Starks. What a letdown for a big and noisy away following. First 60 minutes we were superb. Really enjoyed how ‘at it’ we were and how we pressed. First half was 1 nil going on 3 or 4. Once the second went in it was time to change it, some of the players were knackered. No coincidence our form has improved since Watson has came back in and went wrong when he went off. A team consisting of Brown, Byrne, Stanton and Matthews should really be able to see our games. Abroath are the clear league 1 looking side in the division. I fear the loss of Ashcroft and Watson will be our undoing this season. ps that KD howler was once of the worst things I’ve seen. How does someone at 6ft 8 plus the length of his arms not just punch that away. He actually took a step back . A great shot stopper but not very good with crossed balls. Will be a tougher test against the Pars with their improved form and I believe Bene back in. They’ll of course want to fully derail our title challenge. Dundee Utd keep opening the door for us but title winners don’t blow 2 goal leads with 30 to play against basement boys.
grumswall
Title winners win the games you need to win. Thus far we've done that, although we are second. I'm not writing us off for the title right now but if Watson is out for any length of time I do think it will be very difficult to sustain a title challenge. Unless Goodwin wants to keep helping us maintain one of course...
Langtounlaud
This league is fckn mental. Those results spared our blushes from last night. There will be twists and turns right up to the final whistle of the last game, I'm sure. Absolutely can't call how its going to finish. I'm just glad we're still in the title hunt. Hopefully Morton can do us a favour on Tuesday
Broken Algorithms
A second clean sheet and an assist for Callum Hannah today.
MICMAC
Big Kev is absolutely terrified of getting hurt, that's his problem. At 6'6" he should be claiming everything in his 6 yard box. Watch him during the game and every time a cross comes in he has a look and if there's a player anywhere near the ball coming in he takes a step back and stands on his line. He dropped a clanger last night, that ball was his all night long and he stops, takes a step back and doesn't even jump. RT had a go at him last week at half time about him not coming out for cross balls and he was a lot better in the 2nd half. I love Vaughan but last night he kept throwing himself to the ground looking for a foul and apart from one there wasn't a foul to be seen. He's done it a lot this season and needs to cut it out of his game. Yes Arbroaths first goal was well taken but the other 2 were more fortunate than bad team defending. The break of the ball for their 2nd fell for them in a pinball midfield tussle and their 3rd was another game of pinball ending with a sclaffed shot that happened to find one of their players to put it away.
