Is it f**k, Murray was done for pace because he and Hanlon misjudged a bounce and to begin with expected Kev to come for it, that wasn't anything to do with how we were set up (it would have been the same with Murray and Hanlon as a pair) and more to do with Murray being as erratic as he usually is and panicking. The same panic that gave away a free kick on the edge of the box against Livingston when the easy option was to push the guy wide. Its down to individual and collective stupidity, not the formation and setup.

Edit to add, not defending the setup, it was wrong, but the red card was down to stupidity

Well, either the setup was wrong, the players in the setup were wrong, or both.

I wonder if Collins had some sort of input in that Livingston match. The 3 at the back seemed to come from nowhere. Murray had a stab at it last year and quickly abandoned it due to the frailties it exposed.

People on here slaughtering Barrowman is laughable. The team have been shite all season, even with Murray in charge we were dire.

Blame doesn't lay with him, it's the player's on the park that aren't doing the job they are being asked to do. Ayr last week closed us down more quickly in the 2nd half and we fell to bits. Dunfermline doubled up on us and closed us down quickly and we were shite from the off.

McCann had the beating of Mullin and Jamieson as both were facing the wrong way numerous times and allowing him to cut inside onto his right peg. Both Byrne and Matthews were running around like headless chickens and that was before the sending off.

Well, who's job was it to sign a decent squad?

I thought it was the Ayr game but yeah Potter played a 3-5-2  and it's always susceptible to the long ball over the top catching slow defenders out ........ bin it pronto

I can’t believe the state we’re in.

I have no clue who decides and approves who we are signing, but Hanlon and Stevenson looked decent signings in pre-season. If they’d been there last season we’d likely have had a better chance of promotion. However, we also needed a decent forward and we haven’t got any in. Smith and the boy on loan don’t look good enough.

We’re really only missing a right back, Brown, and Stanton. Although, I’m assuming Vaughan isn’t quite right either if he’s not starting. I am amazed that it’s turned into this shitshow already. I think sacking Murray was a mistake. I think hiring Collins already looks like a panic move. It is an absolute disaster that we’ve gone from last season to this shambles.

Kev, Hanlon and Dick were the only players who had a decent game tonight. The rest were woeful. With all the experience we had out there, no one was prepared to stand up and be counted. The majority are all contracted for next season as well which doesn’t bode well!

Hanlon at fault for both goals. Looks absolutely done to me. Stevenson even worse tbf.

Murray and Potter signed / resigned the players, and it's looking awfy likely they got that horrendously wrong.

The second goal was on Matthews.  He moved to RB, then for some reason went way out of position trying to win a ball he had no chance of winning, leaving a massive gap where he should have been and Pars took advantage.  To blame Hanlon for that is bizzare.

So the CEO who oversees all footballing operations isn't to blame for the current state of affairs? Then who is? We know the players aren't capable but it's up to Collins and the coaching staff to set the team up as best they can with what's available. It's Barrowman and Potters job to improve what the manager has available to him.

You weren't on here slagging the squad when we were winning all those games last season. We've still got those same (decent) players we had then and added to it in the summer. There is a severe lack of movement from the midfield, Fordyce pointed it out a few times during preseason and the league Cup games and Hanlon quite a few times tonight pointing out the same thing. Nobody wants the ball

Feel like its less about formations and more about player form... Vaughan, Stanton, Eastin, Mullin, Gibson and Connolly are our creative players and every one of them is miles off it and creating zero.

Our strikers are feeding off scraps and just running around like headless chickens.. how many chances did we  create for Jamieson and Smith, zero. We didnt even have a corner all game.. That being said, Smith, Jamieson and Hamilton are just not good enough to put us at other end of league table.

On top of the nucleus of the squad being miles off it, our goalkeeper and defenders are costing us points by making individual mistakes - Ayr, Livi and tonight.

All is not well with that squad. Two seasons ago Connolly scored 15 goals or more and created a lot of our other goals, he has not kicked a ball since. Stanton has totally disappeared.

You can't be serious. He's the CEO and sacked a manager who was a game from taking us up via a phone call on a Sunday morning without warning and seemingly no plan thereafter. He's exactly who's liable for the mess we are in. He's also a CEO who is a Director which means he answers to himself which is something no organisation should ever have. He's a complete bullshitter and finally being shown for what he really is.

We've sacked a manager and then went 5 weeks and brought in one loan signing despite getting told the "budget is there" for more players.

I'm not saying the players aren't to accept no blame as tonight several of them went into hiding, Easton in particular. They also need to look at themselves are get their heads sorted no matter what they thought of the sacking.
