Mr.Reeee
Bit poor if the boy is taking stick on twitter to be fair, short memories in football though especially if you move to a local rival. Signings have been fair imo would hope they would still make another couple of permanant signings and these where already in the pipeline before people leaving was confirmed.
Wardy
Maybe we’ll go down the loan route for an actual striker? Harry Paton perhaps? McGlynn was Raving about him at Stenny mind?

baillieinleeds
Midfield is looking decent, especially if Gillespie stays.Defence needs a restructure and with Murray leaving and Davidson/Lyness/McKay dithering over deals it looks like it’s going to happen by accident if not by design. Really hope McKay stays and the other two go. A right back now a necessity, CB possible depending on McKay/Davidson. Absolutely this as in the midfield. Hopefully Gillespie does stay. Defensively I’d love to see a Bene/McKay centre back pairing. Lyness and Davo can leave forthwith for me.

And being honest, as decent as Murray was, he was a mainstay in a defence that leaked goals on a consistent basis – and nobody knows what his best position is. He isn’t a natural full back, and when played in central defence we didn’t look great there either. He’s a decent/good League 1 player, we should easily be able to reinvest a 5 figure sum to go someway to replacing him. I couldn’t put anyone that formed part of that horrific defence last season as a “must stay”. I admire your calming voice and applaud the trust you're showing in our manager, and I agree with your main argument. You can't however bring up gaining Vaughan, Dingwall & Hendry as they were actually part of last seasons squad, injured as they were for large parts of it. What I do disagree with is you doing Murray a huge disservice. Maybe his best position eluded us but he was a solid 7/10 every game, barely made mistakes, never had a howler, big goal threat, and could do all this across the back 4. Better than bene and Davo and crane and mckay. Our best defender is away and we're left with possibly the dregs from last 2 seasons

Michael W
Murray going also does us a bit of a disservice with regards to his versatility. Not saying he was a great LB or whatever but he was valuable when players were unavailable because he could fill in. This is exactly my point. The majority of people favoured Dumbarton due to the individual signings but they failed due to not playing as a unit.
Popular Post Ebanda's Handyman Services
There was a time when I'd have been outraged at players leaving us to go to the Pars. Clichéd as f**k but these boys have a short career and I can't grudge them sticking an extra one or two hundred quid on their weekly wage. Aye, "f**k the Pars" and aw that when we're playing them but it's only a game and folk dishing out abuse at players bettering themselves financially really need to take a good look at themselves.

Yeah worked the other way when Cardle signed for us. Hopefully we’ll find ourselves in that position again in the not too distant future.

R.R.FC
I’m pretty happy with the business done so far. Hendry is far beyond the quality I thought we could attract and I don’t think there are any shockers amongst the signings unlike some teams so far (sorry Dumbarton fans). Loan signings in particular will be important as they always are with McGlynn and I’m confident he will add quality in keys areas with those. Anyone overly upset at the moment just check out our starting line up in our first Betfred Cup game last year. We are over 4 weeks from our first game and already we look in much better shape.
