The New Raith Rovers Thread

Well we are the creme de la creme so of course you should have to pay more to see Fife's Finest!

Of course.....

Going by last season's prices though, I paid less for an SPL ST than Rovers did for a relegation battle in the 1st! No wonder the punters aren't showing up, no value whatsoever!

Remind us, who won the relegation battle?

Hold on that was us, how did yours go?

In practice most people paid somewhat less than the headline prices by getting in early, though.

Well done the board, anyway. I hope the response justifies it - judging from what they said about the response to the inital offer last month they must be reasonably optimistic.

What type of season ticket did you have and how much did you pay?

Had a quick look at the Dunfermline season ticket prices for next year. They look more expensive than Rovers adult season tickets, both in terms of early bird price and normal price.

I think POTM must be in the "young adult" category??

What's that about anyway, surely "young adults" in full time employment have more expendable income than us oldies with kids & mortgages?

I'd missed Ellis's ten years, with it coming in disconnected spells, but he thoroughly deserves that, and I shall make sure I can get to it.

Davo is only a couple of years away from one too, if he re-signs.

I'm amazed that a season for the San Shitto cost £280 last year. FFS! Just renewed mine for the Norrie. £240 - same as 2 years ago. In fact I was looking at my purchase history on Parsonline & my season ticket is the same price as it was 5 yrs ago. Our board take some justified abuse but they have to be commended for this.

Quite surprised how happy yous are with your clubs prices. Although they've come down, they seemed vastly overpriced to begin with.

Calderon - why resort to mud slinging & cheap digs. Neither of our clubs can take much credit for their finances. Indeed I'm gettin a bit fed up reading your chairmans' sob stories in the FFP every Thursday......at least the pars are back in div 1, will keep him happy for another season.....

I can't believe we'd get lumped together with Dunfermline when talking about financial affairs. We've been very poorly lead in the past but we're simply not in your league.

We are kind of similar;

In the last couple of years we've not really had any money to spend, so we've not really spent any money

Whereas in the last couple of years Dunfermline haven't really had any money to spend, so............................
