Fantastic show. I once seen them singing a song about life in an old folks home. Found it fucking hilarious but have never been able to find it again.

I mind they asked "What's the American word for dentists?" and had the guests buzzing for ages trying all sorts like "orthodontists" and such like, getting increasingly more desperate.

Vic eventually put on a really crap American accent and said "dennists".

You probably had to be there, but it was genius.

I remember having the misfortune of seeing a painfully unfunny sketch by Vic & Bob about 10 years ago on Comic Relief.

For me, Shooting Stars boiled down a few funny (and often repeated) jokes/sketches spread out over numerous half hour shows.

just had an evil thought.

It seems workers in call centres toilet breaks are monitored and presumably they can't take too many in a day. So if one of them cold calls you then would it not be evil to move the phone so that you have a running tap in the background and then keep them on the line while they hear the noise of running water.
