vikingTON
Why can't posters stay within the rules of the site and avoid permabans ? Both had same IP. http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/206350-aliases-of-banned-posters/page-6#entry7824667 Our ex-resident bin-raking jakey turns up on an alias account, having been perma-banned, only to get sussed immediately and banned again.
kev23
Hoopy is the best Celtic poster on the forum. Isaiah Osbourne is the best Hibs poster on the forum. The only way in which the moderators can up their game is by keeping posters like them and getting rid of the deadwood like yourself. Hoopy could possibly be my favourite poster on this site. He hasn't posted anything too memorable but he's a sound chap. Tap boy oor hoopy! Reminds me of a younger me posting wee faces all the time .
Bert Raccoon
http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/ They have a banned magee84 account over there If you read the thread on that forum that Magee sets himself on the way to getting banned, he gets into an argument with someone and uses Supras's "Be specific" schtick on them before later calling someone else a beige no-mark and talks about box office posters. What a tool. Yes, I really was bored enough today to go looking to find that out. Here's the link. http://forums.scottishfootballforums.co.uk/topic/14586-owen-coyle-has-celtic-clause-in-his-contract/page-1?hl Oh Magee.

Hedgecutter
Just watched Pie & Bovril The Movie, aka American Psycho. A tad disappointed the 'smug gif' came straight after the opening credits, followed swiftly by the mention of "verge of tears".
Enigma
I really need to get round to watching it. Anybody who has no knowledge of that or Partridge would be lost on here. I'll stick with my Studio Ghibli gifs, they'll never catch on.

Enigma
I was waiting for the right moment to use that one. Poco Rosso has spawned some pretty good gif, far from my favourite GIbli film though.
mrcat1990
I was waiting for the right moment to use that one. Poco Rosso has spawned some pretty good gif, far from my favourite GIbli film though. Still a quality film imho. Feel the quality has dived with the last few releases. Spirited Away is when Glbli peaked and since then they haven't released anything quite up to the heady heights of Princess Monoke or Spirited Away.
Enigma
Still a quality film imho. Feel the quality has dived with the last few releases. Spirited Away is when Glbli peaked and since then they haven't released anything quite up to the heady heights of Princess Monoke or Spirited Away. I think Ghibli peaked during the Laputa - Only Yesterday period (Kiki aside) although some of that may come down to personal taste. There has undoubtably been a 00s decline. Earthsea is the only film I havn't seen. I though From Up On Poppy Hill was very decent though, while not great and I have high hopes for the two films realeased this year. I've seen some pretty off reviews for The Wind is Rising but I think many Ghibli fans have some pretty odd expectations of what a Ghibli film should be like, lots of comment about it lacking the 'magic' or 'imagination' etc. etc. Its a loose biography, not Spirtited Away 2 and I doubt it ever tried to be. It had an imdb rating of 8.4 before its American release and was sitting on 7.7 after, I think that's telling. I'm not sure if Ghibli will reach the hights it once did but I'm confided it can still do a lot better than Arrietti and, by all accounts, Earthsea. I think Poppy Hill is a good foundation for the future. I would rate Laputa, Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies and Only Yesterday above Spirited Away.
mrcat1990
Grave of the Fireflies is definitely one of the best. Pretty bleak but that's my bag. Monoke is certainly as good as it gets in my bag though. Has everything I want from a Glbli film. Haven't seen all their output but as a studio they were consistently excellent till Spirited Away. Felt Howls Moving Castle was ruined by its ending.
Enigma
I'd still say Howl is as good as Kiki, Porco Rosso or Whisper of the Heart. I forgot to mention Ocean Waves. I love that film. It is Ghibli's most obscure but well worth tracking it down. Edited October 24, 2013 by Enigma
