Having seen them back in the 80s at a few gigs I was keen to go, but the ticket price has so far put me off. Most likely I’ll still end up going if tickets come up again on resale. 😂

Absolutely brilliant live shows each time I’ve seen them.

Last time I saw them, was at the Picture House in Embra, doing a 25 year revisit of Love, in 2009. Astbury had pretty much got caught in his Jim Morrison persona, & I’d had enough of the post Electric stuff. I said then the only thing that would get me to see them was Dreamtime & earlier. This is it, can’t see them doing it again.

Cloth tomorrow night at Stereo,

I used to play drums in a band with Paul and Rachel from Cloth back at school. Very talented siblings and delighted to see them gaining some recognition even if it's not my sort of thing.

Had my first gig in a long time last week with Millie Manders and the Shut Up at Broadcast. Outstanding show and criminal that they aren't playing bigger venues. I'll be seeing them again in January when they're on the Slam Dunk tour with [Spunge], Zebrahead and Teenage Bottlerocket. Got a few gigs booked now that life is allowing me.

Halocene - 2nd December @ Slay, Glasgow

The Darkness - 5th December @ The Academy, Edinburgh

Slam Dunk Tour - 21st January @ Garage, Glasgow

Bowling for Soup - 22nd February @ Academy, Glasgow

Got VIP tickets for BFS which I'm over the moon about

That Slam Dunk tour should be excellent. Had no idea [spunge] were still going. Got Finch doing What it is to Burn in full at The Garage tonight. One of my favourite teenage albums, really looking forward to it.

Pretty special stuff from Finch tonight in celebration of 20 years of What it is to Burn. One of my favourite albums as a teenager, it still sounds great 20 years later.

Support from Seattle hardcore punks Filth is Eternal who were brilliant, will be looking out for them in the future.

Saw Stevie Nicks at the Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit last night. At 75, her voice is amazing even if her patter still needs work. This was my first time at the LCA and as a building and, I’m sure, a hockey venue it’s pretty impressive. Less so as a live music venue.
