p&b is a disgrace
Stranglers were fantastic last night, as always, in fact I'm sure they have improved with age. Agreed. Wilco was also excellent!
George Parr
Devin Townsend was fantastic in the Garage tonight - one of the best I've been to in a while. Highly recommend all of his music.
Derek Patterson
Devin Townsend was fantastic in the Garage tonight - one of the best I've been to in a while. Highly recommend all of his music. Absolutely. His voice is unreal now (quitting booze & pot clearly helped significantly) compared to when I saw him with SYL. Fantastic performer and all the people getting onstage for Bender was quality. Would have liked to hang around for the DJ set but unfortunately had to bolt for the train. Can't wait for Ghost/Deconstruction.

yoda
My brother is getting me a ticket for Morrissey at the Ironworks in Inverness in June. Hopefully he gets one before they inevitably sell-out, and hopefully I'm not on holiday when he's playing. Morrissey is fucking great. AyrshireTon
Meant to add that the Decemberists gig last week was great. Being in the Barrowlands brought back memories of being a student. Good to see a hall full of folk enjoying and singing along to a band which I had previously presumed nobody had heard of.

Smurph
Should be going to see Elbow tonight. I don't like them that much, but you can't beat a free gig.

Mushroom
Elbow at the SECC were immense. Garvey's patter is fantastic and there lots of wee nice moments with the band including them all playing a couple of smaller numbers with the entire band crowded around a couple of instruments and standing practically on top of each other, in between the epic stadium anthems.

I concur entirely, they were fantastic and Garvey knew how to work the crowd. The only downside was i was stuck next to a few p***ks that just came to hear the "Peter Kay song" -
