underdogunderdog underdog
Less of that shitey chant the better. This gig will be phenomenal Aye it should be. I liked the visual aspect of seeing Jonsi as well as the audio part.
yoda
I've found my booking. That's a relief. Anyone know what time they should be on at? I won't be able to make it until 7:30/8:00pm. Edited March 2, 2013 by yoda

I'm guessing they will be on about 9, at least I hope so as we are just leaving from Ayrshire just now.
underdogunderdog underdog
Ended up leaving the gig early. It was alright but I think it would have been better suited as a seated gig. Visuals were really good though.
Mushroom
Just back from Sigur Ros, they have a wee tendency to go on a bit but after finishing with Untitled #8 I really don't care. I loved it.
yoda
I really enjoyed Sigur Ros, I don't get to many gigs so it has case for being the best one I've experienced. They appear to overindulge themselves at times but, to be frank, with the music they play it's not a complaint on my part. It looked terrific as well.

The mist was coming in and the trees silhouetted against the lights. It was a genuinely magical moment, with the singer standing elevated slightly at the front of the stage. Made all the better knowing Metallica were playing for morons on the main stage.
young_bairn
Foals tomorrow night. Should be decent. Going to try and not get too drunk for this. Want to remember some of it at least.
Sooky
Palma Violets in Edinburgh on March 22nd and then The Gaslight Anthem in Glasgow on 25th March. That'll be a nice little warm-up to The Boss!

murphy1970
The Stranglers were fantastic on Saturday. On top form live and a great set list, it was superb to see them start the gig so strongly with Toiler, Goodbye Toulouse then Grip.
CountyFan
So after attending Amy Macdonalds show in Aberdeen tonight somewhat reluctantly I have to say I was blown away. She is a great songwriter and her voice is fantastic. Maybe because I wasn't expecting much, but she was really, really good.
Mr Sugden
http://www.list.co.uk/article/49455-amy-macdonald-the-enemy-kt-tunstall-and-dexys-join-primal-scream-on-wickerman-2013-bill/ Not a huge Amy McDonald fan so will probably be in the scooter tent. But may pop down later for a look.
The Idiot Bástard Son
The Stranglers were fantastic on Saturday. On top form live and a great set list, it was superb to see them start the gig so strongly with Toiler, Goodbye Toulouse then Grip. Saw them at The Garage in Aberdeen on Monday. It was a last minute thing as I'm kind of "it's not The Stranglers without Hugh Cornwell". However it was a great gig. Some tracks I hadn't heard in ages like, as you said, Toiler on the Sea but also English Towns, Down in the Sewer & Tank. Baz Wilde's patter was good as well. "Whose car is that outside with all the Stranglers stuff on it? Yours sir? Nice one! You'll be pleased to know we've autographed it for you. Yes, it's amazing what you can do with a tin of spray paint & a screwdriver".
The Idiot Bástard Son
Three gigs tomorrow night in Glasgow all worth a mention. There’s My Bloody Valentine at the Barrowlands showcasing their first new album in over 20 years; Status Quo at the O2 Academy, the classic “Frantic Four” line-up playing Glasgow for the first time in over THIRTY years; and, sadly but boldly, the legendary Wilko Johnson at the ABC as he plays his farewell tour. To anyone going to any of these you should have a great time. Me, I'll be at the Barras.
