Hughsie
Delays on Monday night at the Liquid Rooms. Would highly recommend this, not only for Delays, but for the support, Captain, who appear to be on the verge of big things. They supported Delays in Glasgow the other month and they were excellent. Should be a good night.

That's a bit strange... do any bands play there? Might go along in my t-shirt.

I thought the exact same thing when I heard, but it's part of a two-day music festival based on Belmont Street. I assume it'll atually be upstairs in Exodus

Having spat at a bouncer on Tuesday I'm not looking forward to my next visit there (although I think/hope he never noticed). wearealldoomed
Now that the Hi-Fi North festival at Newcastle has been given the go ahead, it looks like that'll be my next gig. If all goes to plan, that'll be the first of 4 festivals this summer for me.

Guest LJ
B&S tonight Wish I had tickets for The Aphex Twin though B &S were superb. Played loads of old stuff, notably The State I Am In, Belle & Sebastian and Dog On Wheels. The highlight for me though was meeting Jerry Dammers (who was DJing upstairs) and getting his autograph How was the Aphex Twin Colin?

Neefie Noodle
my next gig is Iron Maiden in December. Went to Motley Crue x 2 and Rammstien last year - all mind blowing gigs and I got well wasted in glasgow at the Crue gig.
