That should not be condoned but are still small fry when compared to the treatment the likes of the deans or fulston got. It also doesn't help if you run down an entire stand to argue with a boy giving you jip. Turn the other cheek and walk away you ain't going to win by confronting them. Despite all that there is absolutely no reason to bring this out in a meeting attended by a good number of fans who have shown no willingness to abuse or attack the board. Surely the proper place to air those views will be the first meeting with the new supporters group if anywhere. Aye, but Deans and Fulston existed in a pre internet era. I'm assuming that Colburn is referring to abuse that they've received over social media or email. I've obviously no idea what the content would be but I don't think it would be along the lines 'Mr Colburn, you're a bad man!' Fans would need to have written Deans or Fulston a letter or maybe tried to run them off the road or something.

scottsdad
Holy shit. Watching it now. 12 minutes in "We're not blaming the fans" having spent the previous five minutes blaming the fans.

scottsdad
Why are Falkirk doing so badly? (26 mins in) Because we have moved too many players on. They have gone to other clubs and raise their game against us. Teams play better against Falkirk than anyone else. They are now quality players who can beat us. But were not good enough when with us. Some logic there.

They have all chosen to give up their time to take part in the fiasco that is now our club . Most of them don’t have any shares and those that do live in the states. Why they are in these roles god knows - They should have known that every board I can recall has been verbally abused by the fans - “ it’s just part of going to the” fitba” At games rightly or wrongly personal abuse directed at our own / opposition directors players and match officials is standard fare and often wouldn’t be tolerated outside of a stadium . Wether is hissing after Norris mcCathie died from a gas leak , singing about opposition players girlfriends being sluts throwing eyeballs on the pitch or whatever why would the people in charge expect anything else given the recent form .They can’t have been surprised by the reaction. It’s just par for the course I’m afraid and part of the reason many go to the game to let of steam in a way they wouldn’t be allowed in normal society . Board members can’t expect to enjoy the free hospitality when things are going well if they can’t take the shit (however abusive ) when the going gets tough. There should be a line though. isn't this practically a whole new board since 2019 as well? and all Falkirk fans pretty much? this isn't George Fulston, Mike Ashley or Alan Mackin bleeding a club dry we're talking about here. Ok it's starting to look like Sheerin and Holt have been a bad mistake but they've come out and been open in a transparent way (maybe even too transparent going by some of the player and Gow comments). Somehow they've managed to get in an experienced investor with real cash in Rawlins. They've not closed the door to even more investment. We can't just have a clean slate every time. This is a clean slate. There has been a build up of bad management with previous decision makers and there's precious little patience left. but not convinced changing one fan's group for another is going to make any odds. To me, the board are there to provide funds and choose a manager. They've done one and failed with the other. The more I see of Sheerin, the more I can't work out what we've seen in him.

I've only watched about 3 minutes of the whole meeting but I'd be willing to bet that perhaps only 2 people sitting behind that desk would even know what nepotism meant, and those two would be the Rawlins. Holt probably couldn't work Google quick enough in order to answer it.

Deans is a stooge for Colin liddell of the old msg. He brought him on board . Until the links with them are gone it is most definitely not a clean slate. The rest of the bod Rawlins apart are all deans chums. There's no great cross section of skills either. They are nearly all bean counters. Who on earth in their right mind when wondering whether they should continue asks their mates. Feck me old deans did despite having presided over the worst season in over 40 years. He and his cronies have already scared off over double the amount of investment that Rawlins has sunk into the club . Despite struggling to get more than 30k of new investment out with the bod from selling the old msg shares . You only have to watch Tuesdays shambles to see what kind of rudderless ship they are trying to control. The club needs cleared out from top to bottom or you just get the same clowns appointing the wrong people again and again which is the reason we are in this mess. Fresh start slate wiped clean no links to the old msg on the board and things will start to improve rapidly. You've emptied your dross we need to do the same then perhaps we can as you say heal. Have we? The person you said is the problem is still their all be and it in the background

Everbairn
What annoys me is they say that ex players raise their game to play against Falkirk. Its then suggested that the players we have brought in are better than robbie leitch and Scott Mercer. What a way to help robbie leitch and Scott Mercer raise their game even more when they come up against us next. Gary Holt also goes onto criticise Keena and Dowds goalscoring record. Cant imagine 2 current employees of the club will be happy with that. sheerin says krasniqi is nowhere near the first team and really only signed to build a relationship with another club. Surely he has been sent to get games and the fact we are not playing him would suggest we will get no future players from huddersfield . Absolute shitshow!!!!

Swordfishtrombone
I'm sure it's been covered in great detail but I've just watched the start of the shambles of the q and a and the contempt shown towards the first guys question was genuinely staggering. If that is how the chairman responds to a relatively mild and well researched question then we are fucked. I wouldn't trust him to wash my car.

At least our entire team and management hasn't walked out yet due to shenanigans with toxic Tony and the committee. A new manager and entire team came in and yet he's away already yet you are telling us we should be giving our manager time. Camelon are one of the only clubs in Scotland that are even more of a basket case than us.
