Big chungus
Big game against stenny next week. A win by 2 or 3 goals should comfortably see us into the next round and an extra minimum of 20k secured.

Stenny will be up for this game massively with it being a local derby but we know what we can do, especially at home.

Stenny will be really up for the game even though they will probably be out of the running. Bragging rights on offer and i have horrible memories of our cup exit against them. We should have more than enough though -
Disco Duck
Just back. Lovely wee ground and social club. Nice weather, good chips and curry sauce. Football was a bit flat but we did ok given the makeshift team, and the 2 goals at the death were helpful. Miller prob my motm for effort if nothing else. MacIver, Tait and Ross all had a frustrating day! job done, and the team willl welcome a rest midweek.
FalkirkBairn2021
I know talking about ex Bairns is generally boring as f**k but the surreal Andy Irving at West Ham story is.. quite something.

Probably get a call up to the Scotland squad at some point as well. Done really well in the Austrian Bundesliga.
NavyBlueArmy1876
He had only just turned 18 when he came to us tbf Plus he had to ply his trade alongside utter dumplings like Ruben Sammut, Tom Owen-Evans & Paul Paton
Rocco
It was clear Irving was a player. The problem was Hartley brought him in and pinned his hopes that he would drag the team up. It was too much too soon for him
Bairnardo
There's something weird about that transfer. It seems to be generally discussed that West Ham have no intention of him actually playing for them and are loaning him right back out Edited July 20 by Bairnardo

In the wilderness era, some have had “decent” careers it just shows that we were a soft touch and players played for the wages regardless of the result, thankfully McGlynn realised who the bad apples were and got rid at the earliest moment.

The idea that the signing was about strengthening ties between West Ham and the Austrian club (apologies don't know off hand who he plays for) and they didn't actually want the player particularly. Can't recall the source of this tho.

Highlights on the West Ham page but in the 2 friendlies so far, he's played a big part, draw with Ferencvaros and scored a cracking winner against Dagenham https://www.whufc.com/video/player/0_ls7cbuzs?feed=3ed927a9-48ea-4e79-8592-468e0a175ea9§ion=6ca42eaf-56cc-41b1-922e-60531cb1b429
falkirkbairn23
Fair play, good for him. Unsure if he will make it at West Ham, but regardless he will get a good move from it if not. Could tell he was talented and was wasted in one of the worst Falkirk teams of all time.

JS_FFC
Pretty decent chance that three teams finish on 9 points and it becomes a goal difference shoot out. 9 is usually enough to qualify as a 2nd placed team although there are a few historical examples of teams missing out on goal difference. Hopefully Dundee United don’t beat Buckie by any more than 3 goals and we’ll know that any win on Saturday gets us top 2.
Blane Fonda
If we are a fan owned club why are we kept so in the dark vis-à-vis injuries? You think if the Chairman or CEO went to the Manager and Physio and asked when is player X returning and they said no idea boss. That would be acceptable? I do understand corporate responsibility and how saying our two first choice centre backs our injured for months, could mean, players, agents, clubs etc.. could hold our feet to the fire when trying replace them. BUT this is the downside of having 1000 owners not 1 or 2 guys who could offer soft loans If we need players come out and say it, if we the fans, don't pony up the dough we cannot greet if we get bad results. Fan owned means we elect representatives to board. It doesn't mean we as fans get to make demands about every day to day aspect of running the club. Imagine how tiresome that would get for all involved
