On the eve of a game that could see us go three points ahead in the Championship with a game in hand we are subject to absolute game playing by people who obviously are not getting the vibe. Sad.

These guys will be all pleased with themselves that a few folk have replied to them on the internet.

Meanwhile, the rest of us can look forward to the game tomorrow.

Everyone wins.

Christ we are certainly going to be in a better place at the end of this season whether we go up or not than we have been in a long time. We also now have players on our books that other teams may actually want to pay money for instead of us having to pay money to get rid of them.

No, sorry, everything is shit. The club are trying to make tickets available to a sold out area of the stadium to non-season ticket holders don’t you know.

Whats happened to the thread. Can we have a prolonged conversation about our new disco lights instead please.

Unfortunately not.

That was signed off by the BoD, council and installed by lighting engineers; programmed by a sound engineer along with a stadium announcer and had nothing to do with John, Paul and the backroom team, 1st team players or apprentices so is off limits - Let us never speak of it again 🤐

I'd have been pretty alarmed by a £400k+ loss of it wasn't for the fact that the Club has, since the start of last season, consistency been explaining that it was budgeted for and that no matter what league we ended up in this season we had to move to a breakeven model. That's why if we didn't gain promotion we were going part-time.

The board statement of October 2023 said they had budgeted for a £327k loss. We appear to have ended up with a loss of £100k more than that. That may have been budgeted for too but sure it was said somewhere that any money above that would have to be found from elsewhere. Considering how much unbudgeted revenue we must have made with the invincibles, crowds, FSS numbers, 1876 club, Lotto etc, then would consider that a more pertinent question to ask how we arrived at that figure than what was previously quoted?

Dunfermline lost 1.2 million first season back in Championship. We on the other hand appear well organised
