An *interesting* choice of a 1992 flashback from the Falkirk Herald today :o

I know they're just printing the story as it was from 27 years ago but why on Earth would you choose this?

Even in 1992, was that really appropriate language?

Great player, hard to believe how long ago that was!
Btw that’s almost topical news by the current standards of the FH.

remember fondly him banging in the goals at ibrox when we beat them. quality, ooo would love to have someone of his pace and quality signing this month.

I think the fact they even mentioned his skin colour like that shows you how far times have changed. You would never see 'black striker x has signed for Falkirk' now.

Many many goals and his trademark swivel hips pre turn but I remember fondly him playing a reserve game for Clydebank at Brockville years later, must have been near a 5-600 there to see him and he got a standing ovation when subbed

He was my neighbour across the street. Gem of a guy. Even had kick about games in the street with my son and his pals when they (all too often) went to his door to see if he could come out and play. Only other player I remember being that free with his time was Jim Shirra.
