But calculating probabilities, scouting around for value, using Betfair etc - no thanks, I'm out. I'm not either. I don't really have any interest in scouting about with 15 different accounts, just to get one which has my pick at 8/13 rather than 4/7. I'd say the most useful thing I've found in my years of tennis punting is definitely H2H records. If 1 loses, I will split the other one in half and just keep going with two. My aim is £5k for a quick deposit towards a house. Anyway, I've been tempted to have another go, specifically by Morton's price at Cowdenbeath on Saturday. I expected them to be a touch above evens, but they are much bigger than that absolutely everywhere. Coral have them at 19/10, but I'm taking them at 7/4 with BetVictor.
