The Jones comment is a bit strange, he has turned out to be utterly pish.

It was filmed pre-season so at that time Man Utd had just signed him and he had earned the club £16m. He's only got pish over the course of the season. He was the "next big thing" at the time of that comment.

he hasn't said anything that's not true.

According to Blackburn fans Jones and Lowe had both already been promoted to the squad before Steve Kean had even arrived at the lub and Jones at least, signed a professional contract with the club only a few weeks after Kean arrived hence Its unlikely he was involved in that at all.

If you were the academy staff would you like it if you were lied about and made out to be incompetent in considering getting rid of a great player?

It's all just bullshit from the bullshit master.

Yep. Kean looks like a completely delusional fantasist.

Feel sorry for the Blackburn fans that they were lumbered with the useless clown last season.

Can someone explain what "legal" action fat Sam can take? They guy who videod this on the fly is a c**t.

None, one would imagine, and absolutely.

Keane comes across as a nice enough guy there, considering the halfwits he was talking to can hardly string a sentence together. It merust be really bloody irritating when semi-literate twats fly to the other side of the world to talk football with a guy who is just going for a quite night of relatively heavy drinking.

Mid table finishes for Blackburn are achievements. It could be some time before they return to where they once were, under the highly crooked but reasonably competent Allardyce.

Absolutely, considering their wage bill these days. Allardyce was a huge success at Blackburn.

Getting rid of him was phenomenally stupid. Exacerbated by giving the job to a pisspoor manager like Kean.

And they have paid the price. I hope the owners lose a fortune out of it.

i always wonder why people spell his name as "Keane" when its "kean"

utter dignity, how else is he supposed to behave when he was taking blackburn out of the EPL

its not like he has anything else, dignity or not he stabbed allardyce in the back and took a squad that Allardyce had fixed after Paul Ince's shambles and was a mid table team, Kean took them to 15th and then 19th

No one's fault but Kean's

How do you know this? By stab in the back you mean one guy was sacked and another person in the organisation took over? It happens all the fucking time...

Kean also lost a number of players from that team and had to replace with inferior youth players. Like Aston Villa the team was full of young players - this is usually a recipe for disaster and it was.

To put the blame entirely at Keans door is utter nonsense, not just in this case but in every case you can't blame the manager for everything that happens at a club.

lost a number of players, he lost arguably 2 starting 11 players last summer in Brett Emerton and Phil Jones, in the same summer he signed Scott Dann, Yakubu, Goodwillie, Ribiero, Petrovic, Vukcevic

January he lost Samba, and released Ryan Nelson while signing Bradley Orr and Marcus Olsson

He brought in more starting players than he sold, so it is Kean's fault theat they were all shit or that they didnt click, he's the manager

Just to be clear, you think everything that went wrong at Blackburn was Keans fault and the owner/players had no influence on it whatsoever?

Didn't he also bring in Rochina and Formica? They look good players.

And let's not start with your bizarre "starting players" metric.

the owners gave Kean the job and binned Allardyce in the same breath, they have a lot to blame also, but this is a thread about Steve Kean is it not <_<

As for the players, Kean signed a fair chunk of a starting 11, the first season where Kean was able to put his own mark on the team they got WORSE and were relegated.

If the players have failed to play to their potential etc then you have to look at the manager, why arent they, do they not agree with his tactics, his managerial style, his attitude behind closed doors, for all the dignity he has shown to the media, the clip about Allardyce shows that Kean can be a right c**t when he thinks he can talk freely

Either way he is an abomination of a manager that has taken a mid-table EPL team to the Coca-cola Championship in 18months, his win % at Blackburn is 25% out of 66 games, fucking abysmal for a guy that was given plenty of chances by his board

I think it's pretty funny that everyone sprouts the Sky clap-trap about how much "dignity" he has had. The man is a classless, clueless individual.

People take a face value all the slurs against the fans that both Kean and Sky carried on, saying he was threatend and need a bodyguard by when the Lancashire times investigated there hadn't been even so much as a complaint made against anyone to the police, nobody who's ever witnessed the events, nothing. The Blackburn fans have only ever protested against a man who was clearly not up to the job, they organized peaceful protests outside and yes, did a lot of chanting inside the ground - but in the same position would anyone do less for their own club?

It's funny how easily they got rid of Allerdyce, when in a decent position and playing ok, and fortunately for Venkys the agent who is advising them on footballing matters, Jerome Anderson, happens to have his own man with no management experience at all and is the first team coach no less, ready to take over. Rovers situation stinks and Kean is a big part of it.

Right shady dealings going on there

yup, nothing shady in that deal eh, the agent who helped the Venky's get the club and who represents the guy that got the managers gig the minute the Venky's were in the door sees his son who is utter piss get a nice cushty contract at the club

Fucking crooks the lot of the them, Kean is a right sheister of a c**t and i hope his career falls off a fucking cliff, an absolute c**t of a manager that, and i'll say it again, took a regular mid table Blackburn team and got them relegated
