pozbaird
"Rangers Supporters groups last night met with Paul Murray who confirmed he will submit his bid for the Club to the Administrators today. Paul confirmed that after the bids are submitted and reviewed, there will be a process of due diligence with a conclusion hoped to be reached around mid May." Dont be holding your breath for anything today gents. I don't think anyone expected earth-shattering news - just some announcement about who has actually went ahead and submitted a written bid. My money is on: The Massoni brothers The Blue Knights Mr Custard the clown Milan Mandaric Peter Ridsdale Sheik Sashma Fathawore Brian 'why the fcuk am I bothering' Kennedy Unless there's a late joint bid from Chick Young and Stuart McCall, I reckon that'll be it.

Gaz FFC
Unless there's a late joint bid from Chick Young and Stuart McCall, I reckon that'll be it. I reckon Terry Butcher would be joining that consortium. On a serious note some of the guys getting linked with a Rangers takeover make Craig Whyte look like a honest, trustworthy guy.

sjc
Suppose it's just as well the US consortium isn't from Boston. Could be just the "rivalry" that US sport is looking for ?! Maybe Rangers & Celtic could move to the MLS ?!

Ross.
Boston (black and) Red Sox? It has a ring to it, to be fair. Can't see "Boston Tea Party" fitting in well with any party tunes mind you, even if Alex Harvey was a Rangers fan.

Are there any 'venture capitalist' asset-stripping wide boys who haven't expressed an interest in Rangers yet?
