cyderspaceman
Come now, that isn't justified, there's no evidence I'm aware of that Ashley's stooges were criminals, liars or cheats. You can't just tar people like that. I've read that Lliambas was a rather unpleasant character.
cyderspaceman
No, you're right, it probably isnt. The split is the shareholding, isnt it? That means Rangers cut will come after SD have taken all their other costs off as well; store rent, staff wages, transport etc If we take the £3.50 as being correct, that would be 25% of the profit after SDs costs. I make that a gross profit of £14 per shirt, or 40% margin. If the share split went back to 51/49, Rangers would get just over £7 per shirt. To be fair, that isnt particularly bad considering they do absolutely nothing for the money Except constantly devalue the brand by being an utterly shite club.
nsr
how full of themselves can they be. Sevco First quote ImageUploadedByPie & Bovril1434024358.236527.jpg "Worldwide massive team" Massive tops, certainly. nsr
No doubt this has been discussed before, but can someone briefly summarise why Celtic are apparently still a going concern with no financial worries whereas Rangers, competing on more or less the same level, died as a result of years of spending money that didn't exist?
Homer Thompson
Massive tops, certainly. Probably XXXL for the most part. Thats why the margins are so low. More material required

Stu
Fat Mikes lawyers now quoting posts from Rangers Media......... How much is he paying these guys? minimum wage on zero hour contracts? I'm not sure that was the SD lawyers based on this: James Doleman @jamesdoleman 2h2 hours ago RFc counsel now showing various newspaper and online articles that mention the 7 year notice period. Not an Daily Record exclusive he notes Here's the one about Rangers Media, which is just superb: James Doleman @jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago Judge now being shown a print out from a "rangers chat board" including post from "trueblue92"
Sergeant Wilson
I've read that Lliambas was a rather unpleasant character. I've met him, he's an ocean going c**t.Anyway, I think anyone looking for morality and equity in the manufacture and sale of football shirts is barking up the wrong tree.

So why is it taken as fact that the deal is such a bad one for Sevco.

Homer Thompson
Indeed. So why is it taken as fact that the deal is such a bad one for Sevco. Dont know really. Although, if the rumours of Rangers having to buy back unsold stock are true then it could turn out to be pretty bad for them.

Musketeer Gripweed
I think if the margins were in anyway that decent then SD would have no issues in these being public knowledge, our previous commercial deals have been pretty transparent. Thelionbrand @thelionbrand 3 mins ago SD don't want anyone to know it's LESS THAN £3.50 that goes to the club from a £50 top. There goes that confidentiality clause again. Will some people never learn?
cyderspaceman
Here is a genuinely funny post, IMO, from RM concerning boycotting 'the merchandise'. , Buying a new top could also suggest that you are proud to be a Rangers supporter and want to show it! Its becoming like a Monty Python type sketch where plain clothed rangers fans surround and call out another Rangers fan for proudly wearing the top because that means he is not really a true Rangers fan! Fcuked if they do and fcuked if they don't.
THE KING
You mean the daily record of breaking details of Fat Mikes onerous contracts right? Whos interpretation of contracts do you favour after today? Clearly Davy thought his was right on the confidentiality.
