Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

Maybe this has been asked before, but if Rangers go into administration then is it a 15 point deduction, OR if they are treated as the SAME club, is it then 25?

Or are we going to get the debate from Rangers AND the SFA that for this purpose they are a NEW club, so they won't be denied promotion?

Such a quandry!!

Isn't the new rule that you get deducted 1/3 of your previous season points total? Meaning they would get 28 points. Most likely they'll get 25 points due to a phoenix club suffering two administrations within a 5 year period.

Once the word "phoenix" starts getting bandied about, points deductions could be the least of their worries. Especially with the latest entrants to the boardroom revolving door.

"some people might say the club that died" - might become their only defence if Hector decides to take revenge for the FTTT.

Just watch them change their party line to being a new club, and how they should be treated as such. That's going to make them look rather foolish considering been pandering to everyone that they're the same club up till this point.

No the SPFL rules now state 15 points and 25 for a second insolvency event (if it occurs within 5 years).

Looking rather foolish hasn't bothered them all that much so far - as Bendarroch, Becky and the rest of the Get-Along Gang have told us (repeatedly, indefategably, tediously, continually, ad nauseam) throughout the whole farce. Shouldn't be an issue for them if it all goes tits up again -

Now hush, little orclets - here, buy this ST and see us win SPFL League Two - another trophy "they"'ll never win....:lol::lol:

Exactly what I was thinking. They will do more backflips than a trapeze artist, BUT, it will be nice to see more squirming and perma seethe,
