😂 I wouldn't like to confirm or deny......

In all honesty, my wine buying process goes like this.......

IF colour = red AND %abv > 13 THEN gies it

Didn't know you were such a connoisseur.

Have tricked myself into buying the Bunna CS having talked myself into a corner on here that it was great value. Hearing really good things about it though.

This is next Fridays dram. 90% sure it's Clynelish

Interesting, the griffin would make me think more of Tomatin maybe?

In any case, its Thompson bros so it'll be braw.

I see the Lidl and Aldi seemingly annual now Christmas time releases are out. Both 18yo and both 39.99. Incredible value. The Aldi is a speyside and it's out now. The Lidl is the Ben Bracken again, is an Islay and think is out next week.
They tend to disappear fast so keep an eye out. The Aldi one you can get on their website but you need to buy 6 bottles to get delivery. Thankfully that includes mix and matching with their cheap and also fantastic wine so wasn't a bother for me.
Cheers. The 18yo Islay from Lidl was tremendous at £35 last year. Finished my bottle a few weeks ago so will keep an eye out.

What is the big deal with Bimber?

It seems to get a good write up but I've never tried it. It is quite expensive even though it's very young.

Their first release had rave reviews and their batches are really small which created a huge hype which caused the usual story with flippers and now everything just sells out as soon as it’s released.

Never tried it and only bought it because of the exposure if I’m honest.

I’m sure it will be opened at some point though.

Would be rude not to reach for the drams, given the circumstances. 🥃

Rude? Nay, unthinkable. Which is exactly what I'll be in a couple of hours' time.

I feel as though I should whisper this but we've got the Lidl brochure through the door advertising their 18yo Islay Ben Bracken starting tomorrow at £39.99.

I'm guessing it will be heavily peated? What's their standard Ben Bracken like?

You mean these? I went down tonight and lifted the Ben Bracken one off the delivery pallet. Aldi have the Glen Marnoch too at £40.
