Mordecai
10 Cloverfield Lane I really enjoyed this. Rather tense at times and kept you thinking about what was really happening. I can see why people might be put off by certain parts of it, but I liked the genre mashing that went on. 8/10 Edited March 19, 2016 by Mordecai

Kyle
Yep, I'd go 8/10 for 10 Cloverfield Lane as well. I don't want to say too much as it's a spoilertastic movie. Definitely worth a watch!
killiepiemuncher
Yip 10 Cloverfield Lane a good solid 8/10, good film. Anything with JJ Abrams involvement has to be good.
BFTD
Clovie 2 is getting the arse watched off it tomorrow. Even if there's no giant sea monsters, I'll luxuriate in the sumptuous display of beauty on display in that dank basement. You all know who I'm talking about. Damn, John Goodman, y u sexy so hard?
Saigon Raider
Watched The Big Short last night. Really enjoyed it and explained the mental housing bubble in the US very well. 7.5/10
Grim O'Grady
I watched 24 Hour Party People. 9/10 Only for the 2nd time since it's been out. It loses a point because it had Alan Partridge playing the lead role. Ok you know what I mean but like in other films, Chaplin for instance, by the end of it I didn't see Robert Downey Jnr I saw Chaplin, same with Michael Sheen playing Cloughie. I just never got away from Coogan to Wilson. Yes the voice & mannerisms he got but physically there was no morph moment. By the end of it I still saw Coogan. The story nonetheless was brilliant & I spent most of my punk life at the Russell Club, so it was magnificent seeing the old place brought to life for a fleeting moment. The cast of supporting artists peppered throughout the film & the breaking the 4th wall was superb & I felt added to the piece. Lifestyle changes meant that I never bothered going to the Hac but I was aware of it. Tony Wilson was Mr Manchester. RIP. I recommend everyone to watch it again & play the "what have I seen you in since?" Game. stumigoo
10 Cloverfield Lane. Enjoyed this, not an 8/10 for me, a solid 7 though. King Ralph was excellent.

Written by James Gannon, who is the real guy played by Reece Dinsdale. I really enjoyed it, especially the parts about "Gumbo".

Lofarl
I enjoyed Clovie 2 the Clovening. But the film initially had nothing to do with the Cloverfield universe. They just tagged that bit on in reshoots. The film probably would not have had as much hype had it just been John Goodman in a Fritzel homage.

They should do that with more movies which deserve a bigger audience.
BFTD
Kung Fu Panda 3 - yeah, was alright; not quite as good as the others but still worth seeing. Had nothing to do with Cloverfield, however, and Jack Black is no John Goodman. Having kids is shite
GrahamJags
Bought an Unlimited Card yesterday so went to see two films 10 Cloverfield Lane - 7/10. John Goodman was great in it and the girl is a total wid. Builds tension well but I hated the ending. The Boy - 2/10. Hilariously bad. I went on the basis that it was probably going to be shite. People, including myself, were in stitches at some of the stuff that went on.
